User questions & answers
Question: | Is this flammable |
Answer: | What type of connection(s)? If you are looking at connectors that has a little corrosion or debris on them then yes. I used this just recently to clean some contacts for for HIDS in my car because the contact was interment and it worked like a champ! |
Question: | Good or best to use on boat outdoor gps and radio connections subjected to salt spray? i had been using crc contact cleaner and lubricant |
Answer: | I have used it to clean my home thermostat following the application up with a blast of canned air. It would definitely work on circuit boards if you spray from a 12 to 14 inch distance and follow right away with the compressed air. |
Question: | Can i use this to clean the pins of the connectors to the ecm in a vehicle |
Answer: | Yes, but it's awfully expensive for that and probably overkill. Cleaning them out with rubbing alcohol followed by a light wipe of some sort of silicone-based lubricant would be much cheaper and ultimately, probably more effective overall, though if the actual electrical contacts are really bad, it would be helpful to use DeoxIt specifically on those - but don't waste it wiping out the whole socket with the stuff. Obviously, you should flip the breaker or remove the fuse before working on a chandelier no matter what you're doing with it. |
Question: | Is this good for the plugin from a trailer to a truck for lights and brake controls |
Answer: | Yes it is corrosive, no bleach, doesn't give list of ingredients. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Can I use this to clean the inside of my printer? It's a bit dusty. Perhaps in combination with/after using a compressed air can |
Answer: | WD-40 sprayed lightly on contacts. |
Question: | Is this safe on o rings |
Answer: | DREMEL tool brushes with brass, bristles and @ low speeds are your best bet. |
Question: | Does this come with a straw to spray into tight spaces |
Answer: | Yes. I use it on electric and electronic devices. |
Question: | how is this different from electrical cleaner |
Answer: | AC, please use this instead.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CIRTY0/It's CRC's product line specifically used for battery terminals and removing battery acid. If you want, you can follow up with the battery terminal protectant.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CIPUNC/Be sure that you remove the battery from the car and clean it with wire brush first to get most of the grime off the battery terminals. Also, there's a dye in the battery terminal cleaner that reacts when it detects acid. Make sure you don't get that dye on your car paint. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this price (58.00) for a single can or is this the price per case |
Answer: | Most manufacturers don't even want you to use compressed air as it can blast dust into part that can affect the print quality. You should use a vacuum cleaner instead and only use this if the printer is having trouble. |
