Cleaning your CPAP machine

Use a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly with cool water. Keep the tube as straight as possible and gently work the brush in a back and forth motion, in short strokes, gradually working further inside the tube.



Avoid aggressive use when cleaning. The fan tipped brush will reduce stress to tubing walls. However, it is recommended the CPAP tube be kept straight as possible during cleanings to avoid unnecessary wear or damage.



When done cleaning, thoroughly rinse tube with a stream of cool water, Gently pat the bristles until dry to the touch and hang somewhere where there is air circulation. Carefully loosen and straighten tube brush, maintaining a hold on both ends. Once unwound, we suggest finding somewhere to hang the brush.

Question:	Where do you get the cleaning tablets
Answer:	This product is a pre-wash solution. Use about a teaspoon of solution in a bowl of hot water, then pour the solution into the hose from the bowl. Let it sit 5 minutes, then rinse with hot water. Hose is now ready for regular wash. I use ivory liquid dish soap for 2 or 3 passes, and finish with several passes of hot water for the final rinse. To dry your hose after cleaning, hang it over the back of a door and let it dry out for 5 hours. Shake it several times during the 5 hours to help the water move out. If still damp when it's bedtime, let your cpap machine finish it up. But 5 hours should dry your hose. (I use ivory dish liquid my choice, as it works well for me for the last nine years). By the way, you need to do this once a week at the minimum. The solution seems to make things even cleaner. I plan to use it on a regular basis. Its good to wash away that odor from new cpap equipment as well.

The recommended method of use is to sterilize separately, and open the object, sterilize it once for outside, once for inside. If can open the object completely and let the UVC light shine on its surface, then 5 minutes once is enough.

Question:	why costs more than your same size same ingredients than your other bottle same stuff but does not SAY for cpap
Answer:	Is because when they put the name CPAP or BPAP there is more liability involved in it. People are using the spray for their medical devices because it says so in the bottle. But if they sell to you one that does not say cpap or bipap. And you sue them they can say why do you do that? Nowhere on the bottle does it say that he could clean a medical device. And boom you lost your suit.
Question:	How do you use this product to disinfect the inside of the tube
Answer:	Hello! Detach the tubing, and spray into the tubing about 15 times to get it really wet. Hold the tubing at each end, forming a "U" shape-- a pool of CleanSmart liquid should have accumulated a the bottom of the "U." Rock this back and forth, to ge the liquid to touch all of the tubing (at least 60 seconds) Then, dump the excess liquid out, and hang the tubing over the shower rod to air dry. Thank you!

Answer:	I'm really not sure, the only thing I can suggest is that if you go to order it, but don't place the order you ask the company that puts out the product if there is a way you can get that information. I do know that it is the best hand sanitizer you can purchase because it is made with isopropyl alcohol and not ethyl alcohol. Good luck with getting the information you are looking for.

Question:	There's a small amount of mold on our A/C coils that are next to the humidifier. Would this product be safe to spray on the coils that can't be wiped
Answer:	Hello. Yes, you can use it A/C coils, as long as it's ok for them to get wet. Rinsing or wiping is not necessary, just spray and air dry. A work about mold: CleanSmart will kill the mold spores. However, it will not "bleach" any color or stain left by the mold. For example if you sprayed it on black mold in the shower, the mold would be dead. However, the black stain will remain. Thank you!
Question:	Can you use this on upholstery
Answer:	I have purchased this product several times. I spray it on hard surfaces & let it sit as directed. There is no odor & it has gotten on my hands many times & did not irritate my skin. I chose to try the spray on soft surfaces like a bath towel to prevent mold & the color did not bleed & the fibers were not damaged. I hand wash a lot of my clothing & began to test small areas of my pajamas & once again the color & fabric remained undamaged.

How to clean your CPAP Tubing

Use a mild detergent and warm water.

Rinse thoroughly with cool water

Keep the tube as straight as possible and gently work the brush in a back and forth motion, in short strokes, gradually working further inside the tube.



Avoid aggressive use when cleaning. The fan tipped brush will reduce stress to tubing walls. However, it is recommended the CPAP tube be kept straight as possible during cleanings to avoid unnecessary wear or damage.



When done cleaning, thoroughly rinse tube with a stream of cool water, Gently pat the bristles until dry to the touch and hang somewhere where there is air circulation. Carefully loosen and straighten tube brush, maintaining a hold on both ends. Once unwound, we suggest finding somewhere to hang the brush.

Answer:	6' fits, but you need to curl the hose-and only the long hose-in the water. I also make sure the hose is completely submersed in the water with no air left in the hose. I clean the other parts separately. Therefore, I wash the 6' hose in one water bath, the 2' hose, mask and half of the water reservoir in another bath, and the other half of the water reservoir in a third bath. I allow about 3 hours to completely clean my CPAP equipment. Most of the time is waiting. I do not attend the machine while it is cleaning the pieces. I spend maybe 20 minutes total in changing the bath water, preparing & rinsing the cleaned pieces, and finally rinsing the machine afterwards.

Answer:	I only know that it works great with my ResMed machine. Cleaner hoses in one third the time compared to washing by hand.

Answer:	There are 2. One is connected to 7 ft wire X 22 mm diameter and one is 7” brush x 20 mm

Answer:	Of course it’s reusable! The instructions state to hang the brush so that it stays straight. There’s a small circular ring at one end that’s made just for hanging. I use mine at least twice a month.

Answer:	If your tube has a right angle only at one end it might work from the other end. My tube has right angles at both ends and it was very difficult to insert the brush, and even harder to remove it. The brush is mounted on what looks like a thick piano string. When I was removing it it felt like it was grinding the inside of the right angle connector. I'll never use it again.

Answer:	I am on my third container. I always seal the top when I pull one out and have had no problem with wipes drying out. I use them on my mask every morning without issue.

Since I went to the F20 touch,purchased these and can't believe the oils and dirt it pulls off my mask every morning. I do sanitize once a week . All the replacement stuff is so untrue every 3 this or six that.
