Answer:	900W equates to 75A at 12V dc. W=V*I or Watts=Voltage times Current. So though the 75A model will work, but I would use the 100A model just to be on the safe side.

Question:	is the tester function just a voltmeter for your alternation or what? The cheaper model 56-864 does everything else, right
Answer:	Pass/Fail voltage test. Handy when you already are fooling around charging the battery, but not a big deal for anyone who knows how to use a DVM or any other voltage measurement tool (oscilloscope, divining rod, licking battery terminals with your tongue). Same goes for fancy "electronic battery testers". When in doubt an old fashioned carbon pile load tester will let you see how it performs when doing actual work.

Answer:	Yes ... make sure the battery is fully charged so you won't get a false result. Switch the MODE button to alternator >> start the engine and hold it at 2000 rpm >> if it is charging less than 13.3V it will light up (BAD) >> 13.3V-14.0V (FAIR) >> and above 14.0V (OK).

Answer:	It is about 1.25" diameter. I used a 1.125" hole saw to make the hole in my dash. It is probably just shy of 2" long. I'm not sure where they came up with those dimensions, but it is nowhere near that large.
