Answer:	This battery is better than the optima, but is a relatively close race honestly. I’ve run both and the optima worked well, but I was able to keep a slightly higher voltage when running full tilt with the D3400.

Answer:	I ran my 3500 watt amp off the battery for 6+ hours and it was still at 70% battery left. So it'll last quite awhile for a 900 watt power inverter.

Answer:	There is not a way for this to self charge, hook it up to an aray of solar panels and it will go up and down every day.

Answer:	This is a VERY GOOD AGM deep cycle battery. I would just make sure you have a PROPER trickle charger on it.

Answer:	The further you discharge a battery each used the faster it will be destroyed it is never suggested to discharge an SLA battery Beyond 50%. 30% would give you much longer lifetime. Additionally most devices will shut down at 10.5 volts which is 50% discharge such as inverters so that they do not destroy the battery.

Answer:	It can probably run a12v pump for 10 or 15 minutes depending on the size of the pump. I would recommend a marine type battery with a long amp/hr rating. This battery is too small to run a bilge pump for a long period of time. Being a former boat owner I wouldn’t want to be stuck in the middle of the lake or ocean with this small battery.

I wasn't happy with this set from amazon just because of the narrow spray pattern. otherwise it was a good product. You decide what's best for you though. I have a 2010 ram by the way
