Question:	How do I subscribe & save as advertized
Answer:	Yes! I think I've just learned a hint that might help you. Of course, have your water temp hot enough (120-140 degrees F) and clean your filters and spinner arms regularly. Helpful Hint: once dishwasher is completely loaded with dirty dishes, take a paper towel and thoroughly (obsessively??) wipe dry the dispenser where you will put the Pac. If there is any moisture at all, the Pac may begin softening/dissolving, but then hardens when the heat,even of the water, begins. Then the Pac adheres to the dispenser or only partially empties, hardening rather than dissolving. (I obviously don't know the science behind this, but after 2 months of having to do all our dishes twice, I am so relieved to find a simple answer to an annoying and wasteful and inefficient situation. Good luck!

Answer:	My dishwasher has a compartment that they go into. But I have just thrown one in before for extra soap and nothing bad happen...So yeah I think it would be fine just don't let them touch the heating element, Put it in the corner farthest away from the heat :-)

Question:	Are the tabs individually wrapped or do they come unwrapped
Answer:	Come in a foil individual wrap. A tiny hassle to tear the wrapping off and seldom but sometimes the soap cube is crumbled a little inside the wrapping. Overall still the best deal with a little room for improvement IMHO.

Answer:	1 1/2 " long x 1" wide x 1/2" thick. I have two dishwashers and they work in both of them .. one is a GE and the other a Maytag.

Answer:	It depends upon which ones you are using but some you need to remove the wrapper and some have wrappers that dissolve. Either way they work great. The orange ball dissolves first and cuts through the grease and the rest works like regular detergent. Depending upon your dishwasher you still may need to use the liquid that stops spots from forming on the dishes. Finish is better than other brands (IMHO) because it dissolves completely while other granulated forms of detergent don't.
Question:	Has anyone had issues with the tablets not dissolving? New dishwasher, since I started using these more times than not I find them un-dissolved
Answer:	A lot of dishwashers recommend that the tablets be placed in the bottom of the washer and not put in the soap dispenser. I did not read the directions on my new one and was having this problem. I started placing the finish tablet in the bottom and have had no problems since.

Answer:	I have never used the Finish Jet Dry Dishwasher Cleaner but I think it removes buildup with the machine itself. The Finish Power Up Rinse Aid is an additive to the usual dish washing detergent to remove tough stains and fights tough spots and film due to hard water (in you residential area). In my experience, it helps with stains, but still leaves spots on glassware. I have taken to using plain baking soda, which I found to be cheaper and and more effective at cleaning dishes and keeping the dishwasher from buildup.

Question:	Can you use this instead of a rinse aid, or do you still need a rinse aid in addition to this and your normal detergent
Answer:	I use this instead of another rinsing aid and it works fine to keep glasses sparkling clean. Otherwise they come out very spotty, if not coated with residue. Not sure if it is the water or that my machine just needs a cleaning with the "Power Up" every time. I only use less than a teaspoon every wash.

Answer:	My machine has a "pre-wash" slot and that's where we use finish...we use cascade detergent and jet dry in rinse aid slot. Hope this helps!

Question:	Will this work for Whirlpool/Kitchenaid dishwashers
Answer:	This product is labeled incorrectly. This is dishwasher salt. It is not detergent. Do not use it for detergent. I have a Thermadore which has the extra place to add salt in the bottom of the unit. It helps with hard water stains and lets u use less detergent. Works well for the proper use.

Answer:	My Dishwasher has a built-in water softener. There is a salt reservoir in the bottom of the dishwasher that needs refilled with this salt occasionally so that the dishwasher can work effectively.

Our History

Established by U.S. company Economics Laboratory in 1953, Finish was acquired when J.A. Benckiser bought the Consumer Products division in 1987.

By the early 1950’s, the growing use of molded plastic dinnerware was presenting a range of problems. Coffee staining and "spotting" brought on by slow drying were common problems that offered opportunities for the right product.
