Answer:	I find this brush to be very durable and easy to use. I like the stiffness of the brush because it really helps to scrub away the grime and it rinses easily.

It's a sturdy plastic (no smell, though) and silicone trimming on the handles and the bottom ring, setting it up from floor just a bit and keeping it from slipping in the floor. The plunger bowl part seems a combination of silicone and maybe other petroleum but is must more pliable than most plungers of years ago (though still just sturdy enough).I am very pleased with this. The plunger will show dust and will need dusting about every week or two (what doesn't?)and the brush still looks new after months of weekly use. Plunger works very well, indeed.Still, with any tool that gets wet, even though this has a very nice "house" to sit in, I prefer to first let the brush dry by hanging over the toilet bowl for a while, then into the trash can to sit on a paper towel for a bit. I do not want any water collecting in the "house" as mold can grow from that.The plunger gets a good rinse and a drip dry in the waste basket, too, with paper towels, and then when setting it back in it's "garage" I tip it open to the air for a couple hours. A paper towel, folded, in the "garage" or brush holder could also work and then be removed after tool has dried.
