The mouth of the bottle is wide too, so it's a lot easier to fill than a sawyer water bladder. The end caps on each end of the filter are removable. It threads on a standard water bottle, like a smart water or 20oz soda bottle. VERY good flow rate too. I might have to get a second one. They did a great job with this design.

Question:	Is there a trick to getting clean water through this thing? Even Hulk Hogan couldn't squeeze hard enough as it is
Answer:	The filter should be able to process a gallon of water in less than 10 minutes. Two fixes ... 1. There could be an air bubble trapped in the filter or tube, to remove it, unscrew the end cap that is attached to the tube and filter (make sure you do not get water on the drinking water outlet), then screw the cap tight again and test the flow. 2. Use the included backwashing syringe to clear the filter, there might be much debris from turbid water slowing your flow.

Answer:	There are two replacements for this product. The main membrane would still last for 500 gallons of water and then the carbon capsule is 25. These are two separate filters.

Answer:	It should work for any water source. Just know, the dirtier the water, the more often it needs to be replaced. Also, it is not made to filter large amounts if water, and it's very slow.

Answer:	They ARE narrow. I want a wider size and according to the shoe size chart link, I wanted a 2E, not 4E Ultrawide, BUT Amazon Zappo's only stock the 'normal' Narrow and 4E Ultrawides. @WayneM, there is no 'half size larger' to select, apparently they don't pay attention to what people are buying and they don't bother to restock. I went ahead and ordered the D 'medium' which is actually very NARROW. The shoes came and they just fit me with the laces all the way stretched out. That said, I like them anyway - they're light and the sole is solid. The box only says size 10.5 and No width letter. And they don't show the width letter on the shoe's label either. Good shoe, not great sizing.So, Zappo's / Amazon has some work to do to avoid confusion and returns, just stock the medium wides, please. And start labeling the shoes better.

Answer:	It depends on the quality of water that you are filtering. Of course the cleaner the water the less you have to back flush it. But on average I would say 30 liters or so.

Question:	what are the dimensions of the bare filter
Answer:	Yes, this is normal the tap water tank will stop when it appears there is 25-30% of the water remaining. Unlike under the sink RO which wastes 90% of the water, AquaTru is much more efficient. The remaining water is the “waste-water” which needs to be discarded. This is the water that flushes the filters and allows them to last for hundreds of gallons
Question:	Does this filter out parasites as well
Answer:	You don't have to store the water in the tritan tank. I usually don't. I fill the holding tank with unfiltered water. Within 20 minutes, the filtered water fills the clean water tank, and I empty that tank into glass jugs/bottles to put in the fridge. This machine is so fast compared to others, it is easy to filter lots of water. I do this because I prefer to drink chilled water. Using the HM Digital TDS-EZ Water Quality tester, I have tested the water. My unfiltered tap has between 650 to 800 ppm. Filtered water in a glass jug for several days had 14 ppm. Water sitting in the tritan 'clean' tank for more than a day had the same reading (but we use it so much that it is rare for water to sit in the tank that long). Filtered water from other pitchers I have tried measured from 50 to 100 ppm.
