However, if that is not hot enough for you, you can add heating time in increments of 20 seconds until the product reaches desired temperature for you. I suggest to not exceed 3 increments like this as eventually you might reach a temperature that may burn the product fabric. The pillow will stay cool longer but you body will become use-to the temperature. The time will also very based on conditions such as .. we find that by placing the pillow in a closed container and storing it in the freezer the cold stays colder longer. (the container is the trick..a plastic bag is fine ) It's not just the cold or heat that makes the pillow so wonderful, it's also the shape and the weight that applies a light pressure to the face providing deep penetrating temperature.
