Question:	where can I get a cover to fit it
Answer:	A standard hand towel, or kitchen towel, stitched along the long side, will usually fit perfectly. Do make the seams as close to the edge as possible. When you're not using the cover, it can still be used in the kitchen or powder room. I have stitched two or three of these like that, and I always have a cover in the drawer.

Answer:	This hot water bottle is 10" X 7 1/2 "... 12" X 7 1/2 if you include the neck and top. It holds a little over 8 cups of water ( or 2 quarts, or 64 ounces, or 2 litres or 2000 ml .... however you want to measure it). Just buy it... it is the best and it keeps me toasty warm all night!
Question:	What's the highest temperature limit
Answer:	There are several concerns with regard to fill temperatures for various reasons. Fortunately, the PVC-3 material will last longer, survive very high temperatures better, is fairly biodegradable, very recyclable, and even less toxic than rubber. The material is frequently used in many applications far beyond the conditions to which this kind of bag would be exposed. In general, 140 degrees Fahrenheit is the maximum recommended temperature for any heat therapy. The bottle will still work for temperatures just below boiling but this will result in several problems. The life of the bag will be drastically reduced, the structural integrity of the bag will suffer overall so if you like to snuggle with or your bag or end up laying on top of it you bag is far more likely to result in leaks. Additionally, the closer the water is to boiling, the more it will evaporate which will cause the bag to expand, sometimes dangerously. Therefore, your risk of immediate burning and even skin damage from long-term exposure without burns grows substantially as you increase the temperature (long-term skin damage is the most common issue with heat therapy in general). Here are some tips: 1: Placing the bag in a cover will reduce the maximum temperature to which your skin will be exposed while making the heat last longer. 2: When using the bag to warm a space do one or more of the following. Place the bag under your blanket, on top of a pillow, or on the seat cushions for a few minutes. Do this without the cozy. This will allow the bag to cool slightly, help you detect leaks before you actually use it, and mitigate the inherent risks involved. 3: You can also use multiple bags. For example: if you have 3 bags place one on your seat cushion, a second in a pillowcase & a third one in a cozy for use as the 'cuddle bag'. Leave the first two without a cozy and on their original area for a few minutes to warm the area. Remove them before you sit or lay down on your now warmer surface. 4: When using multiple bags, rotate them. make sure each bag is used for every role after however many bags you use each time. This will even out the wear in your bags. I suggest labeling them A, B, C, etc. and either write down the next use cycle or stack them in a set order by use. E.G. covers / cushion bag on top, then pillow bag, and finally cuddle bag. 5: When using multiple bags you can also use the hotter water for the non-cuddle bags as regular leak test. As they are more likely to fail when filled with hotter water, you can discover the problem without burning yourself. 6: Dont always put the bag on the same spot. This will reduce the risk of long-term skin issues. 7: Reduce air pockets to the best of your ability and do not overfill your bag. PS: I use heat therapy to help with constant inflammation in my ankles, to keep my blood flowing down there, and to keep my feet warm. For this purpose, I have a specially made microwaveable gel packs. One of each set of two goes around my ankle and the other my foot. Question:	what is it made of
Answer:	I really don't know if it is rubber or a type of plastic. I assumed it was rubber until you asked. One side is smooth and the other has ridges on it. I like the old fashioned red rubber hot water bottle best. Don't even know if they are available any more.
