Answer:	No, there are no gel packs that come with it. It may refer to the inner contents of the heating pad.

Answer:	The heating pad part is 19" long and the heating wires do go pretty close to the edges. The pull-out and stretchy straps attached 1 on either side of the heating pad have hook and loop closure patches and give about another 22" which is a total of 38 working length by the time patches are lapped over to hold the pad in place. There is also another stretchy strap that attaches by hook and loop patch to those straps, as a sort of splice or extension between them which is approximately 17" long and that can give about 5 inches more when stretched all the way out so you have about 60 inches total. That extension strap is adjustable to work if you just need a few more inches, or the maximum capable of approximately 60 inches or 5 feet, at least on the one I have.

Answer:	Nope. You can't ever immerse it in water. It's full of rice, so suddenly instead of a heating pad you have a soggy sack of Risotto.

Answer:	I use mine on my neck. I microwave it for one minute. That works for me.
Question:	What is inside the pad? You mentioned "rice", what kind of rice is it? How can it hold the cold or heat
Answer:	So... I have 6 of these... 2 are "Cold Packs" and 4 are "Hot Packs"... For the Hot Packs I just take them as-is and nuke two-at-a-time for 1:35mins on high in a 1100watt microwave oven. Solid warmth for a good 60-75mins. I even have a hand-made bungee cord web for holding them across my back and shoulders... Love it! The Cold Packs took me some time to figure out... First, a single pack can be either "cold" or "hot", but once you decide to make it "really" cold, then don't use it as a Hot Pack after that (see below...). As-is, these packs left in a freezer for 48hrs+ will get cold... but the filling in the packs is basically dried beans, very low moisture. Enough moisture that microwaves can vibrate it plenty-hot, but not enough to really create a dense ice mass when frozen. So... I took 3 of my packs and soaked them in warm water for about and hour. Then, I set them out to dry until the fabric and cords had dried out. At this point, just based on crude measurements, the pack has gained about 10% mass in absorbed water content. Toss that in the freezer for 3-4hrs and the result is a very cold wrap that has the density and chill of a very long and skinny bag of frozen peas. Danger, Notice, Alert, Fuego!!! Once you've "iced up" a pack like this, DO NOT try to use it as a Hot Pack!!! I gave one of these a 45sec heat cycle and it came out like a sock full of molten lava... The added moisture that makes it very freezable also makes it very volatile when heated. So you have to have designated "Hot" and "Cold" packs... but at US$8/pack, it's a steal.
Question:	Can this also be used as a cold pack
Answer:	i've used these buggers for more than 10 years with great success, although i've probably bought fewer than 4 of them. i've used them daily in general for my neck trouble; but it's no miracle that they've lasted since i've periodically replaced the stuff inside because the grains shrink (about thrice per Bed Buddy). i prefer to replace the filler with ordinary long grain rice myself (uncooked) - plain & without seasoning, of course. You can get rice by the giant sized 20 lb. bag so it's a lot cheaper than repurchasing a whole new Bed Buddy. i wouldn't recommend washing the thing with the filling inside, especially if you've replaced it with rice like i have. A lot of folks do like me & slip it inside an athletic sock to kept it clean longer during use - then wash the sock. The tube is a close-weave heavy duty material that will lasts a long time, but it does tend to leak after 3 or 4 years due to the microwave energy eventually breaking down the fabric. Open one end (or you can just cut the end off), dump out the stuff (you can also do this if you've accidentally roasted it - the stuff will "overcook" & char & stink if you leave it in too long), fill with rice & resew it closed just tight enough to hold it so you can undo the stitching (folding the end helps).

Answer:	I wouldn't advise it. Also, make sure you order a size larger otherwise the gel packs will not fit and make sure that your order is the right size. I made sure of it, and was still sent the wrong size.

Answer:	I've only ever purchased the 12 oz canister, although I can't imagine the product would be different just being in packets. You should be able to look at the ingredients of both to confirm before buying.

Answer:	The Stevia plant is grown in China but the products are manufactured mostly in California. I have been using this for years and found it to be the only stevia that is not bitter and does not give me stomach aches. The company does a lot of lab testing and does their due diligence.

Answer:	Unfortunately, I have stopped buying NuNaturals. I found out they changed their formula 2 years ago and that is why we are seeing the difference in taste. I bought this brand for many years and it was the best on the market. I used to rave about it to everyone! I even used to buy people a box of it. The bitter taste is even more noticeable in their packets. I have switched now to Trader Joe's Organic Stevia Extract..no fillers either. I'm pleased with its taste. Answer:	I don't know about pineapple juice, but I have found that the best way is to put cold water in a glass and then add powder--rather than the other way around. I mix with a fork and go brush my teeth and by the time I return to drink it is completely dissolved and clear. My experience is that adding powder and then liquid makes it clump a bit.

Answer:	I am not sure why they picture the heating pad on bare skin. There is no removable cover. I always wear a shirt to keep the inside clean and there is plenty of heat. The heat lasts about thirty minutes. It is very nice not to be tethered to an electrical cord. I have worn the pack while I cook but I wear an apron to protect the outside cover.

Answer:	I am not a scientist, so I will answer this the best I can. To the best of my knowledge, the beads and seeds which make up the filling of the pad attract and retain moisture from the air. When heated, they use this moisture to provide the moist heat. This does not mean that the heating pad is wet. It is not. The filler, when heated, provides a moist heat, very different from a heating pad. It’s a nice, soothing heat.
