- Place the Winluck cold pack in the freezer for 1-2 hours.

- Remove cold pack form freezer and place a light towel or fabric barrier between the skin and cold pack. Use the strap as necessary to hold the pack in place.

- Without professional advice, do not exceed 20 minutes of cold therapy at a time.

- Return cold pack to freezer and cool for 30 minutes before reapplying to area.

WARNING:

Answer:	Sorry, I don't know about heat, I've only used it for ice, which works well.

Answer:	This stays extremely cold for well over 30 minutes. I have had it on my knee for an hour and it is still cold.

Answer:	The ice pack 10 inches long and 5 inches wide. The holder is stretchy and Velcro attached to holder. I haven't used yet so can't really tell you if it works.

Question:	What is the dimension of the gel pack
Answer:	They mostly freeze solid staying a tiny bit slushy, but they defrost very quickly to a slushy state. A thin layer of ice, frost collects on the surface as it defrosts leaving items it touches slightly wet, so an outer cloth cover is advisable. if the item is being used on the head (for headaches) or curved around a body part, it is advisable to form it in that shape before freezing.
Question:	Does the Velcro strap go across the longer side of the ice pack
Answer:	I haven't had them for awhile because I left them at son's house when we were visiting last fall. But my guess would be only a couple of hours. I remember that I really liked them ( I was using them for my hand after surgery) and as they softened slightly they molded to my hand.
Question:	How long is the velcro strap. Would it fit around a overweight waist
Answer:	The product comes with two gel ice packs and one gray fabric bag. We don't offer the fabric bags separately.

Microwavable Heating Pad Provides Fast Pain Relief

1. Start with a room temperature Gel Beads Pack.

2. Wrap the Gel Pack in a moist cloth or paper towel and place the Pack in the center of a clean microwave turntable (not touching the sides). Make sure that any additional microwave features are turned off, such as “browning” or “convection.”

3. Microwave initially for 20-30 seconds depending on the strength of your microwave.

4. Check to make sure the Hot Pack is not too hot before you apply it to your skin.

5. If more warmth is required, reheat for an additional 5-10 seconds until it is warm enough.

Before reheating, knead the Pack gently to make sure the Gel Beads are evenly distributed, and that no part of the Pack is too hot. This can sometimes happen at the edge of the Pack, due to the nature of microwave heating. Rotate the Pack 180 degrees and reheat as needed.

Answer:	The longest strap for around the waist is 26" total with the last 2 " being the velcro. The lower strap is 11" total with the last 2" being velcro. Honestly, I never use them and have considered cutting them off. If I'm using an ice pack for a painful hip I don't find myself up walking around much. I am a practitioner and your only supposed to ice for 20 minutes every 1 - 2 hours anyway.

Answer:	I just had surgery for a torn rotator cuff. I have two of these ice packs. One at home, and one at the office. They work very well.
