Answer:	As a general, total item, Neomycin was discovered in 1949. As a tube of Neosporin, the EXPIRATION date is imprinted on the Bottom of the tube. Answer:	I didn’t have to use it on my face but I think you probably can. It’s an ointment that feels similar to neosporin and has natural ingredients.

Answer:	I'm not quite sure what you mean by "fad med!" I found that this cream did relieve quite a bit of the burning and discomfort from the shingles. Unfortunately, shingles has to run its course and my case took over a month to heal. I have recommended the cream to others; there are few shingles products on the market as far as I know.
