If you are referring to the Boy’s sizes, the Boys Large comes with as small cup abd the Boys XL short comes with a Medium cup. The adult Large is going to be the largest cup size we off that is paired together with a short. Answer:	Small/Medium is what our 1st and 2nd graders wore this year in goal. Everyone on the team got a shot in goal and they fit everyone. The shorts were long enough that they covered their knees too, so with the shin guards there wasn't much to worry about. 3rd grade may be the limit if they are wearing their other game shorts underneath. We would just pull them up over their other gear. Kids still need to wear a cup because there is protection built in but only foam padding.

Answer:	Thigh pad is foam. It is not hard plastic like a football girdle. Still protects pretty well though. My 13 yr old goali son has been wearing for two seasons.

Answer:	I would probably go up to the large in the Nutt Hutt 3's. We accidentally ordered one of these and the legs/thighs were very skinny....looks like they were trying to cut costs. The quality of the 3's is much lower than the 2.0's. Unfortunately, I can't find the original ones anywhere, but if you can find the dark grey/black ones (2.0), order them in every size! (Amazon only lists them in a YS.) They are super comfortable and last forever.

Answer:	The size for women is not really the problem. The size is commensurate with other women sizing. My wife is 64” 130#. She wears the medium. The problem is that women’s ski pants are tailored for the “butt” to look good. These padded shorts take up a lot of pant room. So the issue is getting your pants OVER these shorts. The padded shorts are fantastic! They breath well and provide protection in all of the right spots. My wife liked them so much that she switched to board pants which provide more space. If you backcountry ski or even just off-piste, these provide earth and protection really well.

Answer:	I can say that they work great for jujitsu, where a lot of knee trauma is is always on order. As to comfort, they are barely noticeable in training but I haven't tried to wear them on an ongoing daily basis; however, they are much much thinner and more comfortable than any other I've used. Answer:	Pocket is inside. I use this short without a cup, and without any pads, using it as a basic compression short, and it is as good or better than any Nike or UA compression short. I don't even notice the cup pocket, it feels just like most shorts that have a double material thickness in the pouch. I have tried it with a cup and it seems to work quite well.
