Answer:	3/16" at one end and 3/8" at the other.
Question:	The 9-9.5 size is a tiny bit big for my size 9 shoes. Is it okay to cut the insole? If so, where's the best place to cut
Answer:	Honestly I don't recommend them they get flat. Should you cut them no. I have fat pad atrophy- no fat cushion in my heels. I bought a bunch of different heel pads and Pedaq are the best. But if you buy the ones you asked about mine fit in my shoes no cuting nessasary just get your size option. Good luck!

Answer:	It’s a wedge shape, thickness in the back is approx 1/2”.

Answer:	I'm not positive about the arch support material, but it is hard / solid. I walk 3 to 5 miles a day with no issues.
Question:	Is the arch foam too? Or is it a metal or hard plastic to hold arch up
Answer:	As far as I can tell the entire insert is constructed of foam. The heel and arch are a hardened foam but still lightly padded. It took a couple days to get used to them as I’ve never needed inserts before. I exercise daily and find them incredibly comfortable. All symptoms of my plantar fasciitis are gone. I decided to continue using them as a preventative measure. I even bought a second set for other shoes. They trim easily with a guide molded into the bottom of the insole. Question:	How long does it take for orthotic insoles to work
Answer:	One option is to buy from Amazon, and offers free returns. The other option C is purchasing through an outside vendor.There is only one width. My podiatrist instructed me to remove the shoe's internal padding before inserting the Superfeet. My feet do feel better now after using this product.

Answer:	I own a pair of both and I would say it comes to a matter of preference. The orange insoles have a little "give" in the toe area, they are more cushioned in the front foot (the heel and arch are solid). the green are not as cushioned in the toe. I personally prefer the green to the orange I found the cushioning to be annoying.

Answer:	Mine are finally breaking down after 22yrs, yes years, of 12 hr shifts sometimes 7 days a week. As a machinist walking on concrete and steel cat walks, and 6ft 2in, 205 lbs, I can't stress how important these have been in my life. Only issue I EVER had was my own, I got them wet, tried to dry in a low temp oven, and the foam at the toes curled up. I cut the foam off at the 3/4 length plastic and still used them. That was about 19 years ago. Absolutely the best part of my many pairs of workboots over the years

Answer:	I keep a pair in my slippers that I always wear in the house, then I have additional pair for the shoes I wear outside. However, I find that I wear two different “outside” shoes often. One pair for going out or running errands, and another pair dedicated to gardening and home repairs as they tend to get a little more beat up. After a while I got tired of constantly switching out between these two pair of “outside” shoes, so I ordered a third pair. But like others suggested, try one pair first and make sure it’s the right type and size before buying additional pairs.

Answer:	I wear a size 10 so I can’t answer your question. I can suggest that if you have a shoe that you can remove the liner inside and use it for a guide to cut them down to size. They are well worth the work.

Answer:	I don’t know the millimeters but could not wear any shoe or sneaker that I couldn’t take out the sole because of the thickness.

Answer:	These insoles are flat but conform very well if you have a high instep. They initially take up space inside your shoes, but within a few minutes relax so they are more comfortable.

Answer:	Yes sir, I took the soles out of my steel toed boots and replaced them with these. Haven’t had a problem with my feet hurting sense and I’m in the 40-50 hours a week minimum.

Answer:	The insoles are made so you can cut them to your shoe size, per example the one that says size 8-14 it fits for all those sizes and when you open them you will see a line that shows the correct size for you, I am size 8 so I had to cut the extra part of the insole to feet my shoe.

Answer:	There is an 800 number on the package photo on the right. It is pretty clear that multiple people here do not have a clue what vegan means. This is made by Bayer, and thus a European company. In Europe they allow way less chemicals in the daily lives of the people. I would call the number and ask. I don't know the answer, but they would. Shame on you all who are joking and being rude. Veganism is not using animals. It is really simple: it is not only what vegans eat, but what the products they buy, whenever possible, doesn't come from animals or their by products. Glues, plastics, medications, personal care products, etc. all often have animal products in them. Dyes, too. It is simply a desire to not cause suffering to others. Really simple.

Answer:	This is a great question. I have very flat feet and I have tried the $$$$ podiatrist inserts and approx 20 different types of arch support insoles. My knees have become a chronic problem. When I wear "flat foot" inserts I have noticed that my ankles still rotate inward. About two years ago, I decided to order and test five different types of "high arch" inserts. Two of the "high arch" inserts lift my ankle into a normal position and I feel much less pain in my knees. The "flat foot" inserts that I have tried have a low arch and don't align my ankles, knees, and hips properly.
Question:	Do these last a long time? I have some that are gel and they flattened out after about a year
Answer:	I have tride alot of inserts, even one's that cost 400.00+ and for some reason I like these. it might just be me but for the price it's worth a try, at lease for me it was. so for me yes all day support.

Question:	What size is this
Answer:	My wife has the women's size 7 and the arch is about 7/8" at the highest point with the orthotic sitting on a level surface. I don't think they are unusually high. They are relatively stiff (but comfortable) and probably adjusted for the size to mimic where the arch of the foot should be located. I also had problems with plantar fasciitis on a couple of occasions in the past. Since I started wearing these orthotics, I have not had a problem. If you're having an issue with it now, try freezing a small drinking water bottle (16 oz.) and rolling it under your bare foot for about 1/2 hour (2-3 times per day) while you are sitting down. My doctor recommended this, and worked wonders for me.
Question:	what size is this
Answer:	The Maxx would likely be a better choice for one who has mild pronation issues and a high arch as the heel on the Maxx version is slightly posted (angled) specifically to address that problem.
Question:	Can this be cut to fit kids size 3 shoes
Answer:	I wear Superfeet in all my ski boots and had them in hiking boots and winter boots as well. They last a really long time. However, they did not fully support my high arches in hiking boots and I dreaded long hikes because my feet would hurt so much. I thought this was normal. I tried Powersteps and the difference (after a few short break in hikes) has been dramatic. They corrected my under-pronation much better and no burning feet! And my hips are not longer sore. I agree they don't seem to hold up quite as well, but Superfeet are more expensive. What matters is how they make you feel and that is a trial and error proposition. I like that the Powerstep is as rigid as the green Superfeet. I bought a different but highly recommended foot bed that was soft and does not work as well. It depends on use. and users. These have been great for more athletic uses.
Question:	Are they good for dancing for a few hours
Answer:	Yes, these are MUCH better! My doctor told me that Dr. Scholl's are not worth the money since they do not work because they do not support the feet correctly. These insoles are wonderful. My podiatrist said they were as good as the ones he sold in his office!
