I expect that they are cheaply made or I got a dud. I doubt it was the power cord, in my case, because it still didn't work when I used batteries.

In Europe they allow way less chemicals in the daily lives of the people. I would call the number and ask. I don't know the answer, but they would. Shame on you all who are joking and being rude. Veganism is not using animals. It is really simple: it is not only what vegans eat, but what the products they buy, whenever possible, doesn't come from animals or their by products. Glues, plastics, medications, personal care products, etc. all often have animal products in them. Dyes, too. It is simply a desire to not cause suffering to others. Really simple.

Answer:	Yes, these are MUCH better! My doctor told me that Dr. Scholl's are not worth the money since they do not work because they do not support the feet correctly. These insoles are wonderful. My podiatrist said they were as good as the ones he sold in his office!

Answer:	This is a great question. I have very flat feet and I have tried the $$$$ podiatrist inserts and approx 20 different types of arch support insoles. My knees have become a chronic problem. When I wear "flat foot" inserts I have noticed that my ankles still rotate inward. About two years ago, I decided to order and test five different types of "high arch" inserts. Two of the "high arch" inserts lift my ankle into a normal position and I feel much less pain in my knees. The "flat foot" inserts that I have tried have a low arch and don't align my ankles, knees, and hips properly.

Answer:	Yes it does make the shoe more snug. I just loosened the laces on the boot. I think the arch support and comfort I got from the insole, far out weighed the snugness feeling of the shoe.

Answer:	I can confirm that the 8-9M US insole WILL fit size 9.5 Timberland Pros just fine. I have 9.5W Timberland Pro Pitboss boots fitted with the medium (8-9) anti fatigue insole. The portion of the insole in front of the arch is oversized and will need to be trimmed. I trimmed about a quarter inch off mine using the original insole as a template.

Answer:	Probably not, because the toe end of the insert is not rigid. However, the cushion on the toe end is less than an eighth of an inch thick, so if the shoe sole doesn't bend much, this insert won't make the issue worse.

Answer:	Not sure, I have a higher than normal arch and the fit fine.

Step 2: With a pen, trace along the toe area of your original insole to mark a line onto the Dr. Scholl's insole. Then trim the toe area along the line.
