Question:	what frequency have u guys found effective for prevention of lice? daily or something else
Answer:	I make my kids (8 & 5.5) use it at once a week, and once a week they also use my "homemade" mixture of Suave Rosemary & Mint with a few drops of added Tea Tree oil. We got Lice from relatives in March and then we have been re-exposed by them several time (with the relatives still having active lice for 6 months) and with our couple of times a week treatments we stayed lice free. When I found out our cousins still had it after 6 months, we washed with this daily for a whole week. Also if you know of someone who has it, use the HAIRSPRAY version of this and plaster your kids hair, the live lice DO NOT like "dirty" hair or these natural oils found in Fairy Tale. We will NEVER stop using this product! As a 33 year old woman with very long hair, I also wash with it once a week.
Question:	Can I use it for a second grad girl? Does it really help to remove the lices
Answer:	It will not remove lice. I use it on my second grader to keep lice away. Apparently they do not like the smell. But the only way I know of to actually remove lice is to shampoo with lice shampoo and comb, comb comb.

Answer:	We use it every day. There have been multiple "lice scares" at school this year and my son has never gotten lice. This may be true true and unrelated but I bought the large bottle and plan to use this throughout his school years (and for camp over the summer). Answer:	This product contains conditioner as well as shampoo and is formulated to condition the hair with use. We do not recommend using a separate conditioner with the product as it can nullify the essential oils which are used to repel the lice.

1. Apply Solution

Read complete directions on package prior to beginning treatment. Use towels to protect eyes and clothes. Apply RID Lice Killing Shampoo to DRY HAIR or other affected area. First apply behind ears and to back of neck. Apply enough product to saturate.

2. Wait

Thoroughly massage product into scalp. Allow product to remain on hair (or other affected area) for 10 minutes, but no longer.

3. Wash Out, Comb Using RID Comb

Use warm water to form a lather, shampoo, and then rinse thoroughly. After rinsing, you can now use a regular shampoo if you wish. With a special lice comb, (included with the RID Lice Killing Shampoo), remove any remaining nits (lice eggs) by hand, using a disposable glove.

4. Repeat

Proper lice treatment doesn’t end after shampooing and combing out the lice and eggs. Don’t forget to repeat treatment with the RID Lice Killing Shampoo again 7-10 days later, but not before,to kill any newly hatched lice.

Q. How do I know if my child has head lice?

A. The most common symptom of lice infestation is itching. However, infestation may continue even after itching stops. With a first case of head lice, itching may not develop for 4 to 6 weeks. In fact, infestation may be present even if there is no itching. Some children experience no symptoms. Never initiate treatment unless there is a clear diagnosis of head lice.

Question:	Is the bottle only supposed to be 3/4 full or did something go wrong with mine? It was wrapped in a plastic bag but there was no seal on the bottle

Answer:	It doesn’t “cure” anything. It’s a deterrent to the lice. It just helps prevent your child from getting lice so easily. It’s about the same as putting a dropper full of tea tree oil in their shampoo. It helps to deter the lice not cure them.
