Answer:	The Scotts Wizz Handheld Spreader is designed to spread granular products. Unless the product to be spread is highly powdered or sticky it should spread fine. Several kinds of products are sold under the Preen label. I do not know which product you are interested in using, so I am speculating. The Preen Lawn care products should spread fine because they are designed for use with broadcast spreaders. The Garden Products are generally applied by hand using the sprinkle container, but both the Garden and the Organic Garden products are granular so they should both work unless they have gotten moist. One word of caution though, the recommended applications rates may need to be converted to dial setting by experiment.

Answer:	does not work well with sand like granules that r heavier than most. clogs gears and wears batteries down fast

Answer:	The problem with NiMH rechargeables is that they are at most 1.2V each. Alkalines are 1.5V each, so trying to use NiMH will only give the device 5V (1.2V x 4) instead of 6V (1.5V x 4). Some devices won't operate at 5V, thinking that the alkalines batteries (really NiMH) are dead. There are several lithium AA batteries available on Amazon that should directly work. They are the type that have micro-usb charge ports on the side of them, and present regulated 1.5V (like alkaline) at their terminals, rather than the typical 3.2-3.6V of unmodified lithium cells. They have a decent capacity, and should easily last a spreading session on an average yard. I use these extensively in devices that take AA alkalines, with excellent results. They are pricey, but save money and waste in the long run. You probably already own the necessary charging infrastructure (a micro-usb cable and a wall-wart usb charger). You can also try to use two 3.2V lithium unmodified rechargeables along with two AA "dummy" cells. This will give 6.4V to the spreader instead of 6.0V from alkalines. I've used this method successfully in a trail camera that takes 8 AA batteries. I use four 3.2V rechargeable lithiums and four dummy AA cells. You will need to buy a charger for these, though. Amazon sells four packs of these batteries, bundled with a cheap charger.

Answer:	Unfortunately no the rock salt is just too heavy and large for it even at the 9 max opening setting and with fresh batteries it struggles and stops clogs up, maybe if you can find a finer ground rock salt possibly but the little motor seems underpowered it is not heavy duty, ended up using it as a big scoop and shaking it to spread the rock salt. It can handle lightweight things like grass seed very well and other small pellet fertilizers like milorganite. Don't think it would be good for any powders only small pellets. I'd skip this and look into buying a walk behind/push broadcast spreader for spreading rock salt.

Answer:	It doesn't have an expiration date on it. I bought many (16 maybe) cans over a year ago and it still works great. I'm in TN and I'm tasty bait for mosquito and chiggers and other flying bugs. It is the only thing that works for me. I wish it also had version that contained sun screen!

Answer:	It came with a cardboard sheath slipped over the blade but this was just for shipping. I put some duct tape over the cardboard and am now using that when I store it. I don't know if a bespoke sheath is made for it.

Answer:	Yes. I bought mine for $14.95 and tried it right away to see if it fit properly. It didn't fit perfectly, but It will do the job. It is a sharp blade. My pole is the 30 ft.pole.

Answer:	I would not use it with 220v; could be a fire hazard. If all you have available is a 220v outlet, buy an in expensive step-down 120v transformer adaptor. This should solve the problem.

Answer:	I do not know for sure. The item is very good inside. The effectiveness first depend on its coverage; whether its direction coincides with the direction you want without leaving any gaps in the coverage-wall to wall. It beam offers wide, high, low coverage. I have 3 larger ones in my 3000 sf. single home. If you have a crawl space under your house I would place them there. Due to the low cost I usually place an extra one facing the other one. This should cover the spaces between pier support walls, just as it does in your house. Most infestation occur from the outside-in through gaps in the structure. These beams will prevent them from entering your house since the barrier created should extend through the gaps. If you want to place them outdoor you may be concerned about the moisture and cold. I recommend purchasing a clear receptacle box cover; they are approximately 3"x4" x 2". The beam will penetrate the snap close plastic cover.

Answer:	It doesn't smell like anything thank heavens.

Answer:	Repellents with up to 30% DEET are safe for kids over 2 months old. Over 30% DEET doesn't protect any better, but does last longer. So get something with 30% DEET and reapply every 2 hours.
Question:	Is this an aerosol or just a spray? Need to know if this is allowed in the bags for international travel please
Answer:	This is a spray. It is not a pressurized container. The product works very well. It takes very little bug juice to give you protection. I spray a little bit in the palm of my hand, then rub my hands together to give them a coating of the repellent. I then rub the areas I want to protect with my repellent coated hands. I may do this a couple of times a day based on how much I am sweating. Make sure you don't get it in your eyes or nose. This does irritate those areas.
Question:	Is 100% Deet dangerous
Answer:	According to the EPA, the answer is "No." (see http://www2.epa.gov/insect-repellents/deet ). Of course, all absolute claims should be taken with a grain of salt. And the state of NY has put out what seems to be a bit more reasoned assessment ( https://www.health.ny.gov/publications/2737/ ). That said, I have used (and continue to use) as close to 100% DEET products as I could find for over 40 years (30 years active duty infantry, 9 years in a wildlife agency, years of backpacking/hiking) and have developed no external or internal health issues. I use this because 1) many areas I operated in (Alaska, Thailand, Honduras, southern United States, Haiti, Panama, etc.) were almost literally unlivable if you couldn't ward off the insects and 2) because even more areas include insect-borne disease (Malaria, Dengue, West Nile, etc.). West Nile Virus activity exists in all but 6 of the lower 48 states and Dengue Fever (or its vector mosquito) is confirmed in Florida, Texas, Arizona, California and Hawaii. Lyme Disease and Encephalitis are also insect-borne diseases. As global warming evolves, other previously tropical insect-borne diseases will probably show up in the US. This is a cost-benefit analysis only you can do for you and your family. My answer rather arrogantly assumes you are talking about using this in the United States. If you are living/operating in more tropical areas outside the US, then it is really a matter of what type of personal insect control you are going to use, not whether to do so. Hope this at least helps reduce the ambiguity.

Answer:	This repellent is pretty strong....Which means it works. I have and do use it on my neck and ears. I have not used it on my face.

Answer:	2 ounces is correct. No more, no less, but enough to last for 2 people on Koh Phi Phi Island for 5 days.
Question:	Will one of these last 2 weeks with daily use
Answer:	That all depends what "daily use" means. Are you planning on applying it liberally or only using a drop? Will you need to re-apply after 12 hrs, or just be using it once a day? How extensive is the surface area you'll need to cover each day? In my experience, one container will not last 2 weeks. It's pretty small, being only 2 oz.
Question:	How does it smell? I use Off Deep Woods which has that citrus-y weird smell. Is this similar, milder, stronger in terms of smell
Answer:	This should be much milder than Off Deep Woods aerosol that I have used. I can smell the Ultrathon, but it is so much more kind to me than the aerosols. And you don't spray it so it can't end up in your nose (unless you intentionally put it there!). This is probably the best (or one of the best) smelling DEET-based repellent. DEET is very effective but the smell and inhalation were big negatives for me, and I feel that this lotion solves those problems.

Answer:	As I have no medical training can only tell you what my experience has been. From my recollection of the instructions the preparation does not work through the nail. I have always applied fungi nail after showering and cutting my problem damaged toe nail back as far as I can. Fungi nail works on the nail bed, underneath the nail. I could take a very long time before you see results and you need to religious in your application so that the the fungal infection does not continue to re-establish. I have been using it for 2 years after every shower and my problem toe nail is now slowly growing clean.
Question:	Can this go into a carry on bag through an airport
Answer:	I honestly didn’t expect much but I thought I would try. I trimmed all the infected area of the nail off, washed and debriefed the nail bed and applied twice a day. I also took vitamins for nail growth. The nail is now normal looking and 3/4 grown back. I applied to nail and bed. I think it’s a 5 star.
