Answer:	As the directions state, saturate your item(s). So you might as well buy a few bottles. I'm waiting for the day that Technu comes out with actual laundry detergent.

Answer:	I don't see any mention of septic systems on the bottle label. Perhaps there's some information on their web site. I personally don't recommend using Tecnu Original in the washing machine. The reason is that the Tecnu is difficult to wash out , and leaves a strong odor on the clothes and in the washing machine. Probably, it's the mineral spirits in the Tecnu Original that causes the issue. I wash clothes exposed to poison ivy using extra detergent, with some TSP ( trisodium phosphate) added to increase cleaning power. I've never gotten a rash from washed clothes. Some people may, however, be more sensitive to the poison ivy left in clothes.

I am very allergic to poison ivy/oak and sumac vines, so I use rubber gloves for this type of cleaning. I don't put my shoes in the washing machine. Question:	The directions say to clean skin after contact with ivy x post-contact cleaner. will a good soap and water wash suffice or do i need to buy that
Answer:	I would imagine so. It creates a film that repels or doesn't allow contact of the plants oils. I am not a doctor though so please consult a doctor or nurse.
Question:	Will sweat was this off after it is applied and dried
Answer:	This is primary what I use it for. Works well. I also use zanfil.
Question:	How does this product work? Is it like sun tan lotion for poison ivy? Im a golfer and gardener who keeps getting poison ivy
Answer:	I am 6' 1" and I only use one of the wipes of both pre and post exposure. I have not had a problem with doing it this way. I just wipe my arms and wear long jeans.
Question:	can i spray it on my dog
Answer:	I don't know. Neither the wipes nor the 4-oz spray bottle (purchased elsewhere) have expiration dates. I did start off the season using a few wipes left over from last summer and they seemed to be find. Perhaps the manufacturer's website would know.
Question:	Is this truly 8 oz or is it only 4 oz? Thanks
Answer:	I think with working with those fabrics you should get some relief. It also has a protective barrier so when you wash your hands or get them wet, it kind of beads the water. Cool effect. I bought this for my husband because he works with cement... extremely drying on the skin. It helped. But he needs something a little stronger.
