If your water hardness is higher than 450ppm (parts per million, which indicates very very hard water) you can add some calgon to soften it up a bit. Answer:	Hi!! I have used both!! The OB brand in the ultra was my 1st choice, but as I get a bit older, I find it harder to use the OB tampons with no applicator. The Tampax brand in the ultra absorbency was the 3rd runner up..they were just not quite as leak proof due to the Tampax brand expanding long ways and outward. They did leak. Also, I might add the Tampax brand has lately been very, very irritating to me skin.. trust me you don't want an allergic reaction in such a sensitive area!!! The Playtex Ultra was my fave! They don't irritate my skin, and they expand more side to side and I feel they offered much better protection!! I have ultra super crazy sensitive skin due to my allergies and such, and playtex brand by far is the best i have used. My flow is VERY heavy and my cycle is almost a week long. I like how comfortable they are. They no longer carry them where I live so I was so excited when I saw them on here!! I hope this was helpful!

Question:	How old do I have to be to use these? Are they small enough
Answer:	Yeah, if you read the reviews seems like this is a common " mistake". I had the same issue and had to return the one box, they wouldn't just send me the 2nd. They probably figure most people won't bother with it and that's a high profit if you keep doing that to customers. Thry need to remove this product if the can't get it right, not that hard. It is clearly marked 2 boxes.

Your period is different every day of your flow, so why wear the same tampon absorbency? Tampax Radiant tampons come in different absorbencies, so you can move up or down as needed. A lot of women experience a heavier flow in the beginning of their period, and then it gets lighter toward the end. So you might want to think about switching between different absorbencies. If the tampon reaches full absorption before four hours, you need a higher absorbency like Super or Super Plus for extra protection. If there is still white fiber showing after four to eight hours, you need a lower absorbency. Use for a maximum of eight hours.

How do I use a Tampax Radiant Tampon Applicator? Tampax Radiant tampons have a textured grip applicator for easy and comfortable insertion. With the removal string hanging down, insert the outer tube at a slight upward angle, toward the small of your back. Gently slide the applicator all the way in until your fingers touch your body. Then push the inner tube all the way into the outer tube until the ends of both tubes are even. Place the used applicator back into the wrapper and throw it away.
