Answer:	The length is only slightly different for them all. The thickness/absorbency is the main difference. Answer:	I don’t believe so. These applicators are LDPE plastic and to my understand and research the PLA plastic contains corn/corn starch. But you may want to google further and see if there is anything out there stating otherwise. Hope this helps!

Answer:	the applicator is thin as that of Playtex, but it doesn't open up like the cotton from Playtex. I think the tampon bloats up, wider than its original size after using it (I guess around 2.5 cm?).
