Question:	Are these good for a normal to heavy period
Answer:	Yes. I have had some heavy periods after giving birth and these pad were just fine. I way prefer them to disposable. I ended up getting 3 of these sets so I only have to wash at the end of my period. But I'm probably changing more frequently than I need to. Another plus of these pads is that they don't stick to your underwear and pull the fabric. I have had no problem with the pads moving around while I wear them. Highly recommend this product

Answer:	I have accidentally dried them on low heat, and they were ok. I usually hang dry them, and they dry quickly.
Question:	Anyone wash these in the laundromat? I don't have a private washer. Do people give you weird looks
Answer:	I'm a college student. So I go back and forth between staying at home (for the summer) and my dorm (during the school year). At school (laundry mat style) I wash them normally. Its YOUR laundry. People are washing their underwear in those washers, their most personal items. No one should look at you weird for washing your pads. I do a prewash though before the washer after using each. So I'll rinse them out with hot water, sometimes I'll use tea tree oil as well.

Answer:	I’ve actually found that these help with sweat as they absorb it and keep you feeling dry.
Question:	When you use them and you're out of the house, what advice or tips to you have about storing your unwashed pads until you get back home
Answer:	This particular product comes with a "wet bag" which zips closed. The used pads can be stored in there. I've found the pads can be folded into thirds, then the flaps brought over the top and snapped together so it forms a little compact square. The square can be put in the wet bag, or any small plastic bag (even a doggie doo doo bag would work) in your purse until you get home. It should be noted that the used pads are not like disposable used pads, which can be messy. These keep you dry and when you change them out, they are not wet and messy. That said, I wouldn't put a used pad directly in my purse, but in a separate bag, they are fine.

Answer:	I wouldn't think once would do permanent damage but if you used dryer sheets/or used laundry softener in the wash I'd be worried about it's absorbency- but I've read that you can re-launder/or soak it in a white vinegar/water mix to fix that (I've used this on towels and it worked well for me). In the future I recommend using a mesh lingerie bag to keep them all together so they are easier to find and hang dry instead :)

Answer:	Yes, probably wouldn't work well with thongs but otherwise yes. Each pad has snaps on the wings -- you wrap the wings around your undies' crotch then snap together to hold in place.
Question:	Please can anyone tell, what is the width of the period surface, excluding the wings
Answer:	It would not be a good idea to wash them inside the wet bag. My daughter uses these and rinses them out with cold water when we takes them off. She then puts them in the wet bag and hangs the bag in the shower. I add them to the laundry but I empty the bag into the washer and then add the bag. Since they are already rinsed well, they are fine to wash in the washer. It is not recommended to wring or twist them, but to squeeze them, and don't dry in the dryer. You can use Bac Out when you rinse them, or soak them before washing, but they do need to be rinsed until the water runs clear before placing in the washer.
Question:	Does one pad last all day
Answer:	I bought these for my daughter and she has been rinsing her pads out before placing them in the wet bag and it has been working well. The bag is in the bathroom until I do laundry and I have never noticed a smell. I would not recommend placing pads in the wet bag without rinsing them, and squeezing the water out as much as possible. But do not wring the pads. If rinsing is not possible at work, I would recommend placing the pads in a ziploc bag before putting it in the wet bag. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The absorbent side isn’t the printed side, so it wouldn’t work well if you choose to wear it that way. I followed the directions that were with the product.

Which side goes against the skin?

The upper side (against your skin) is always the colourful one with patterns made from certified organic cotton or the beige side if it is made out of bamboo. The patterns make the stains less visible and you will always have a beautiful view in your underwear, making your life even more vivid and playful! To make it even clearer – there’s a label between the bottom side of the menstrual pad and one of the wings.

Which size is the right fit for me? Do reusable menstrual pads leak?

The absorption much depends on the size of the cloth pad. S and M pads are suitable for lighter menstrual flow, for the second part of the period and they are perfect as a first period started kit for girls. While for women with a heavier flow, for the first days of the period and light incontinence, we suggest bigger sizes: XL and L. Washable cloth pads don’t leak as they include a waterproof PUL layer. However, if reusable sanitary pads start to leak at seams on the edges, this means that the pad is too soaked with blood and it should have been changed earlier.

How do natissy reusable pads for women stay in place? Do they move around?

Natissy reusable sanitary pads have wings with a little snap closure in order to be fixed to the underwear. By doing so we prevent that they would slip. As there is no adhesive used, it's true that they can’t be as fixated as the disposable ones would be. A form of underwear is important in order that reusable pads remain in the same position, so we recommend all women to try different models of underwear in order to find out, which ones suit the most.

What are reusable menstrual pads made of? What is a difference between organic cotton fabric and bamboo fabric?

The natissy reusable menstrual pads have a waterproof PUL layer and are made of organic cotton or bamboo fabric. The bamboo pad is softer with tiny loop fibres and remains equally soft even after several washings. The feel of organic cotton fabric surface is smoother to the touch. The difference between bamboo and organic cotton sanitary pads is only in the material used, all other facts (absorption etc.) remain the same.

How many reusable sanitary pads do I need? How often should I change them?

You will need as many of them, as you normally use for your period. Please change the reusable menstrual pad after 2-4 hours (or as needed). The absorption depends on the size of a cloth pad (size S is the least absorbent, size XL the most absorbent in the natissy collection).

What’s the difference between natissy reusable panty liners and natissy reusable menstrual pads?

The main difference between our washable panty liners and menstrual pads is the waterproof PUL layer that panty liners don’t have (which makes them extremely thin). This means, they are just thick enough, to absorb vaginal discharge during the day. But when you start to bleed – then switch to the menstrual pads with the PUL layer.

How to wash reusable menstrual pads?

Wash the reusable period padsunder cold water after use, as cold water will soak out the blood stains. You can wash them by hand or in a washing machine. Wash the menstrual pads at a HIGH temperature, at 203° F, long cycle. After washing it, stretch the cloth padin all four directions and dry it in air.

Can I dry the washable menstrual pads in a drying machine?

You can dry them in a drying machine, but in this case, they will consequently have a shorter life span. We would suggest you rather dry them in air. If you decide to dry them in a drying machine after all, we would suggest you put your menstrual pads in a laundry bag. This will protect them from getting seams damaged.

How long do reusable menstrual pads last?

With proper care, the natissy reusable cloth pads should last you around 5 years.

Can I use organic sanitary pads for women while being away from home (at school, work, etc.)?

Question:	How do you wash these to get them ready for use. I know with my sins cloth diapers i had to wash them a few times but that was so long ago I don't rem
Answer:	I washed them in cold water (in a net bag on gentle cycle if you have an agitator in your machine. After that, I just throw in garment bag, wash in cold with unscented detergent and hang to air dry. Or you could "air fluff" dry them in your dryer, if you have that setting.
Question:	How do you fold the pads
Answer:	For the clean ones, I fold the front part of the pad down first, then fold the back part up, over the front, tuck in the extrawide sides and bring the wings with snaps over it all and snap with the wider snap option. For the used ones, I fold in half so that front and back meet and then fold the wings over and snap and then add it to the pad pile for laundry day.
Question:	How long will these last? Example: ( long term time wise
Answer:	If you mean long term, like how many periods or how many years, I'm sure these will last for at least a couple years. I've used mine for over a year and they wash up perfectly! If you mean, how long will one pad last during a heavy period, it will provide protection for several hours or over night! They can hold a lot of fluid, and you still feel dry. These pads are amazing.

Answer:	I have found them to offer a surprising amount of coverage. On heavy days when my body is upright it covers fabulously, but I did have a little trouble while sleeping during my last cycle, I did not have it pulled back far enough. I hope that helps!
