Thin Rim

A Rim for Comfort & Ease -

The large Venus Cup actually has two rims - the upper rim and an invisible secondary rim. The upper rim is narrow and allows the user the ability to fold the cup into a smaller insertion point. The smooth transition and small lip help to create a good seal when properly placed.

Since firmness is often lost with an increase of size, a slight thickening of silicone near the upper rim and an inner ring has been added to the large for extra reinforcement.

Air holes

Not too Big, Not too Small -

We felt that getting the air holes just right would be a huge benefit. We chose a medium-sized hole to allow airflow to rush into the cup while it’s opening. It also aids in removal in which it allows the user to pinch the base of the cup and release the slight suction if one is created.

The four medium-sized air holes are set slightly below the upper rim to ensure that they have good contact with the vaginal wall to eliminate leaking.

Stem

Solid & Sturdy -

The stem is a solid piece of silicone which consists of two ‘cones’ and a ball tip end. The cones are rounded off to prevent chafing and the ball end prevents your fingers from sliding off.

With the stems intact, the small & large Venus Cups are the same length.

If the user doesn’t need the extra length or is comfortable retrieving the cup without a stem, the ‘cones’ can be trimmed. An extra bead of silicone inside of the cup has been added for reinforcement as well as a safety measure if the stem is completely removed.

We’re proud of our design and we wanted to include our name on it. But of course, we didn’t want it to interfere with the users’ comfort. Question:	Do you feel the cup while wearing it
Answer:	As I have post on another question... On my very first try of this product (and very first time EVER using a cup excluding the nightmare softcup trial) I danced with my toddler, went to physical therapy (movement like yoga) went swimming afterward. I made sure to dive, flip under the water and even walked on my hands in the pool my legs straight up in the air and I did this vigorously and repeatedly just to test the Lena cup! Then I took a nap on the sofa. Later after 8 hrs of total use I removed the cup. There was no leak and no mess with removal. plus it was only about half full. So I cleansed it reinserted it using the 7 fold and slept in it. I am a very uneasy sleeper. meaning I turn all over the place. I turn constantly from my back to either one of my sides and I almost always turn onto my stomach a least twice a night... This said I never felt it and Im wearing now and I dont even notice it. And I have a low cervix so its not too high up in me either. Its makes you feel natural as if you arent even on your period.I have to add this is my 2nd day trying this product I have never used a cup besides one day trial of instead softcups (that you can feel and the overall experience was a nightmare) With Lena I only felt it once when I first was trying to figure out how to insert it. Question:	Bought one at the end of November, the stem broke off while removing it. Is there a way to get it replaced or do I need to repurchase
Answer:	Not positive about the replacement, but the stem isn’t supposed to be used for removal. It is there to help you check for a suction seal and locate the cup. Pinching the bottom of the cup breaks the seal for removal and then you hold there to pull the cup out of you.

They also could not tell me what the manufacturers name was or where they were located when I asked them, but they said they plan to register under the name 'Peachlife'

Very wide cups are painful to me, which is why I quit on the Diva Cup in the smaller size because it took about a year of pain inserting and removing, and was still uncomfortable after that year. Anyway, the MeLuna, which is the same diameter as the Tieut Cup was comfortable in insertion and removal, but it's 15 ml. Capacity was a nightmare. The Teiut Cup has a 32 ml capacity, which for me (normal flow) can last hours without being nearly full. It can seem to leak sometimes when it's not full, but that might be due to the learning curve that comes with a new cup and a change in the shape if you've never tried that kind. I'm small too, and it did leak once or twice when I first got it, but once I changed what fold I was using (the 7 fold was my favorite but I found that the C fold stopped the leaking) I was fine. Haven't had a leak since. The only con for me is that I thought the shape would stop leaks, which it did because it covers the whole opening and the shape curves to block anything from getting beyond it, but that also makes it difficult to remove for me. I have to use 2 hands. One to pull the stem enough to bring it down, and the other to grip the grip rings. The bell shape is easy to fold getting in, but a little challenging to fold while it's in there when you're trying to get it out 😄 It can be done in a public bathroom, it just takes practice. So for me, it's a wonderful cup with a large capacity but it depends on what's right for you. Question:	How firm is the cup (or at least the rim)? I’m looking for a firm cup coz I leak out on soft ones
Answer:	I would say it’s a medium firm cup. It’s definitely softer than the LENA in either size (but then again, most cups are softer than the LENA). The only other cup I’ve tried is the Lily size A (original, not compact), and the Tieut is firmer than the Lily (but again, most cups are firmer than the Lily). The rim isn’t very noticeable upon insertion and I can’t feel the rim or the cup as a whole at all once it’s in. I had a little trouble opening it the very first time I used it since I’d been using the much firmer LENA (which also has large airholes), but after that first time I found it really easy and quick to insert and get opened up, which is why I would say it has a medium firmness. I think it’s a good balance between soft enough to be comfortable and firm enough to open and stay open.

Answer:	It is actually a very good design that when folded in keeps from leaking and folds out to a smooth conical shape easy to clean and flexible and also helps you not to spill /splash as you poor out from it. It is thin, flexible, smooth (non-porous) and transparent, so rinsing it clean and more thorough cleaning is quite easy.

How To Choose Your Size

Measure during your period to get the most accurate measurement since the cervix will be at its lowest point at this time in your cycle. Using the wrong size can lead to leaking or discomfort.

To locate your cervix: Squat or stand with one leg elevated and insert your index finger into your vagina as far as you can. The cervix will feel like the tip of your nose and the rest of the vagina will feel more like the inside of your cheek.

Answer:	Thank you for your question! The cup gently adjusts to your body, but should certainly fully unfold, once placed.
Question:	This will be my first cup. I’ve never given birth tend to leak with tampons not sure if my cervix is low Which size and firmness is right for me
Answer:	Sounds like the leaking is probably a flow issue, like it’s heavier than the tampon will tolerate. You need to measure yourself throughout your cycle. Insert an index finger throughout your next cycle and try and touch your cervix. If you can reach it with only reaching up to the 1st knuckle then yes to low cervix. The typical person it will be at the middle or past that knuckle. A high cervix is the entire finger or not being able to reach it at all. Firmness has more to do with pelvic floor strength. If you are very active and have a really strong floor, typically a firmer cup is needed. That being said, this does not apply to me at all and when I have excessive cramping and extremely heavy flow (full in 4 hours), the firm cup large cup works well for me. I think it needs to not move much in that scenario to contain the fast flow. If that’s not going on I prefer the soft large. Most people will take a medium.
Question:	Are there measuring lines in the cup? If so, what are the values
Answer:	I have the original orange colored cup. It has 2 measuring lines on the inside. First is at 10ml. Second is at 20ml.

Clean and store:

Before and after use, thoroughly clean our cup with soap and warm water (preferably an antibacterial soap). You may boil it for up to 2 minutes for a thorough disinfection. Simply microwave or heat water on the stove and insert your Peachcup. Store in included Bag.

Insert and remove:

Push down a corner or fold in half; insert. Slightly pull until you feel a vacuum formed.

To remove, hook the tip of your finger into the Ring and carefully pull until the bottom can be grabbed to fully remove. If your cup does not open easily or you experience leaks, we will be glad to get the right version to you for free!

Question:	Will this cup leaks through the small suction holes under the rim? What if I was lying down
Answer:	Not at all! The small suction holes are pin prick sized. They are sooo small that you won't have to worry about that. Also, I've never had any issues with lying down with leaks/spillage. I wondered the same thing myself since I'm a heavy bleeder and I have never had it leak! Just empty it and put it back in before you go to bed and you should be fine until morning!
Question:	Since this cup is so soft, has anyone had issues with leaking/breaking seal without removal
Answer:	Actually this cup is more firm than the diva cup!! It’s got a great deal but a bit of a “learning curve” since it’s bigger and thicker than others. I wear this cup on my heaviest of days. I have had some leakage but not because of the seal, mostly because my flow is so heavy after three kids and having tubes tied. But it’s generally the best solution for me since tampons are worse and pads are just gross. I would recommend this over the diva cup for heavy flow days.
Question:	I'm going to try this since I have a beach vacation coming. Does the size have anything to do with flow or comfort level
Answer:	Yes to both. The size 2 holds several milliliters more, so you'd have much longer between dumps. For some users, the size 2 is slightly uncomfortable due to how wide it is, and for a few users, the size 1 is too narrow to stay in place well, causing it to slip. For most people, either size fits and would be comfortable.

Answer:	Firmness can be subjective, and opinions do vary from person to person, yet the LENA Cup was developed for an active and modern individual. The Diva Cup is V-shaped, while LENA's unique bell shape is a better fit to the contours of the body. The LENA stem is a soft and flexible and is solid throughout, while the Diva Cup's stem is firm and hollow. The stem should never be relied on for removal on its own but is there to help guide the cup lower so that base can be gripped to release the suction seal and remove the cup.
