Answer:	I can't say for sure, but they seem to be pretty durable so far. The material is hard to describe. It's kind of like wind pants only tougher and there's a little bit of stretch. If you were just brushing up again thorns I don't think they would do any damage. They wouldn't snag or tear. If you poked them really hard (like intentionally) it would probably go through, but I think they can stand up to general wear and tear pretty well. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I would say no. They are for use with adults. And there is a trick to getting them to fit properly and you have to rotate them to get them out. I gave them to my son to use because one of them really irritated my ear.

Answer:	The outer cups are very soft and comfortable. The inner shaft is less soft, to provide them some structure and allow you to insert them without their flopping around, but overall they are quite soft and very comfortable. Hope this helps.
