Accuracy: These glucometers are known for their accuracy in measuring blood glucose levels. Accurate readings are vital for individuals to make informed decisions about their diabetes management, including medication doses and dietary choices.

Results Display: The results of a blood glucose test are typically displayed on a digital screen. Some glucometers may also offer additional features, such as meal markers and time stamps, to help users better understand how their blood sugar levels fluctuate throughout the day.
Battery-Powered: Most True Glucometers are battery-powered for convenience. Some models have rechargeable batteries, while others use disposable batteries.
Connectivity: Some modern True Glucometers can connect to smartphones or computers via Bluetooth or USB, allowing users to transfer and analyze their blood glucose data using dedicated apps or software.
Reliability and Brand Variations: Different brands may offer True Glucometers with varying features and levels of sophistication. It's essential for individuals with diabetes to choose a meter that suits their specific needs and consult with their healthcare team for guidance.
In summary, True Glucometers are essential tools for individuals with diabetes to monitor their blood sugar levels accurately and effectively. They are designed to be user-friendly, portable, and often come with features for data storage and connectivity to support diabetes management. Question: | does it measure ketone |
Answer: | It alerts when the ketone need to be tested It doesn't test ketones and I don't think their is a meter for ketone. But for sure this meter doesn't read ketone, only slept when you need to perform your ketone check. |
Question: | does this product include the "lancet device? (not lancets |
Answer: | I don't know why that would affect a delivery of a item such as this, that is not affected by weather. |
Question: | Include the strips? The ones that you pour your blood |
Answer: | UPDATE to comment left 12-03-2017 No, the TRUEtest test strips only work in the TRUEresult meter, and the older TRUEGo meters that were labeled to use the TRUEtest test test strips. The TRUE METRIX meter only works with the TRUE METRIX labeled test strips. No one seems to know for sure if the TRUE METRIX PRO test strips will work or not. .....I received the meters that I had on order(see below) and the test strips for the TRUE METRIX and the TRUE METRIX PRO meters are interchangeable, either strip works in either meter. I would guess that they will but, as of now, it is only a guess. I have a TRUE METRIX meter, and a TRUE METRIX PRO meter on order, and one of them comes with test strips. Maybe we can put this question to bed soon. I hope that this helps. |
Question: | What’s the difference between this and the True Metrix pro model |
Answer: | The Lancing device comes with a blood test meter. Test strips come in a separate box as do the syringes and alcohol pads. Also the needles for the lance mare sold separately. |

Question: | What does "Hi" mean |
Answer: | They'll work in any Metrix meter I have three different Metrix Meters and the strips work in all three.I hope this helps. |
Question: | can this be caliberated |
Answer: | Yes, the "28" is the gauge. I buy the 100 count package with 2 boxes of test strips (50 in each). Note for 1st timers: I use the heal of my hand, because I need to type. Fingers are harder to get blood out of and hurt longer. You may also want to test a few time during the day, at first. This will give you a better idea of what is causing your sugar to spike. - Best of luck |

Question: | what is the expiration ?, because the images have may |
Answer: | The unit is 9.5 inches in height. You should be fine. Mine has 12 inches of clearance above. Under a cabinet. It has been there for a couple of years. |
Question: | Will it fit Walgreens True Metrix, couldn’t fine the model number of unit |
Answer: | Pay attention to the 'smoking point' temperature of the oil you use for seasoning the griddle. The instructions with the appliance say to season on high heat. NOT SO: you want just enough temperature to polymerize the oil, letting it just begin to smoke before turning the heat down just a little. The oil at the center of the griddle will begin to turn brown and darker brown. DO NOT BURN THE OIL. Proper seasoning takes time and patience and the process cannot be accelerated by using higher heat settings. |

Question: | What gauge do use in it 28 for lancit needle |
Answer: | Yes... when connected to the hookah it is sealed. |
Question: | The picture shows the complete kit meter, strips, lancets, lancet device, case. On the other picture it only displays the meter. Is this a complete |
Answer: | No, the flex spring is removable, and is only there to avoid kinks where the hose connects to the hookah. |
Question: | Does this meter have a replaceable battery |
Answer: | That's more dependent on the grommet than anything. I've measured the piece that attaches to the hookah itself. At its smallest point, it measures about 2/5 of an inch in diameter. Seeing as how a lot of smaller hookahs have the same size hose connector, I don't see you having any issues. If you want to be extra sure, just measure the diameter of the largest part of the grommet you plan on using and assure that it can tightly secure 2/5 of an inch to 1/2 of an inch. You should be fine. |
Question: | No control solution |
Answer: | Appreciate for your love to our products and question, for now ,we don’t sell ice sticks separately, and we will let you know if we sell it in future,Have a nice day. |

Question: | What is the expiration date for this test strips |
Answer: | I bought this meter, strips & Lancets (Disposable 50 ct), and used it for the 1st time this morning. I drop in & out of the PRE-Diabetic range. Last lab test, dropped from PRE, back to normal nine pts, from 109 to 98, lots of works. But today trying this for the first time, a learning curve, used up 5 lancets and strips learning, getting it right, the first reading was 142, WT-FREAK, LOL, the second one minutes later 112. How accurate are they, and are they calibrated differently than a blood lab would use?? |
