| Answer: | I have been using the Precision Xtra monitor with both the glucose strips and the ketone strips since early May 2018. Both the Precision Xtra monitor and strips work well. I have not bought the control solutions to test the monitor, as we do with glucose monitors at the hospital. This monitor works well, and I haven't felt the need to use the control solutions. I can tell when I am in ketosis, and the numbers I get reflect how I am feeling. I can tell when I am not in ketosis. I have had one blood sugar of 51 on day 5 of a fast. I didn't feel very well, so I broke my fast. I have felt that this monitor has been accurate and has been useful to use as I do daily intermittent fasting and occasional prolonged fasting. I have not gotten the solutions to calibrate this monitor yet. I am not a diabetic. |

| Answer: | Don't know about comparison. My eye doctor recommended this supplement, post lipoflow 'surgery' done in his office for one type of dry eyes. The lipiflow opens up microscopic glands in the eyelids - he did some high tech photography which showed quite a few plugged glands and few that no longer functioned. Cause: with aging the glands became plugged, causing one type of dry eye (not tear duct). I take supplement, as well as doing hot 'bruder pack' compresses every morning and eyes are no longer dry as before. I suggest you confer with your eye doctor. The lipiflow treatment is not covered by medicare, but I am glad I had it done. Doctor said if I continue bruder packs daily and supplement, it should be good for at least 5 years. Pos- lipiflow, 1 month, we again looked at high tech photos and you could see most of the blocked glands had once again been opened and flowed. (The few 'dead glands' were still dead and non-functional.). |
