In my opinion, I would not use this on a child of any age without having my physician look over the product, including the box and any inserts. Answer:	Someone here said both are "odorless". I strongly disagree as I've bought/used the gel for years and it has an odor. I don't like it and decided to come here to see how well the cream works as I need it for my neck. The odor does dissipate but I'd rather the initial odor to not hit my nose so will switch to the cream.

Answer:	Calendula is known for it's ability to heal scar tissue. I have olive skin and after injury, the area can be darkened. I found this most effective when used regularly meaning at least three times a day on the area. One of the most powerful burn remedies that I have found is egg white. When I burned my arm on my oven I used egg white and aloe. Then I used Calendula and also vitamin E oil. Hope this helps.
