Answer:	I do believe so. Its been awhile nce opening up the package. I believe it says on the bulb handle carefully contains mercury vapor.

Answer:	The 6.5K is a reference to the Kelvin temperature of the light, while the 10K on the product SKU on Verilux website is a reference to the average hours of life. Ultimately, the bulb should be the same if the bulb is the CFML27VLX(10K).
Question:	Replaced bulb in my Verilux desk light and it still does not work? I noticed when the old lamp quit working I could smell a burning electrical odor
Answer:	Not to sure if the light failed or not. A burnt out light doesn’t have a burning smell to it. It most likely was the switch that failed.

Answer:	one is there metal spring metal clamps at the non-plug end of the bulb holding it up. That makes it hard to remove. Also check where the lamp plugs into the power connection for a possible clip to keep the plug latched in the lamp socket. These lamps do get hard to come out at times but try also wearing some rubber gloves to grip the bulb tightly and as your pulling it out try moving it slightly side to side to help wiggle it out of the lamp socket.

Answer:	Fairly quiet. I have to get within a few feet of it to be able to hear it. Then it is just a normal hum of a fan.

It looks like it boils down to this: The HF3470 has a replaceable bulb (what that entails, I couldn't tell you. It looks like the HF3520 must be a "forever" bulb). Answer:	For anyone using this on the face -- I use a tiny bit of CeraVe Moisturizing Cream (any non reacting cream will do, odorless one) put in my palm just a pea size. I break that up in a small circle, then I spray a small amount of the Fake Bake. I swoosh this around with a gloved finger tip to mix it all up then I apply on my face. like a moisturizer. Put in on your face like you would moisturizer and be quick but through but also don't rub it in roughly. Use light strokes try to remember your tanning where the sun would actually hit you, this isn't make up so if you are going to miss the hair line some if you're using the fake back mixed with moisturizer, it's not going to be so severe.. Good luck---from a fake baker of many years who always fake bakes a face as well.

I use this stuff two days In a row once a week. when I use this on my face I do my whole body first and what's ever left on the mit I blend in my face. but I only do it once a week. and make sure you scrub your face good so your pores don't turn dark. if it ever ends up to dark I use a lighter base make up. I also think they do a fake and Baker for your face too. never tried it.

Answer:	I would do a coat before bed on April 10th. Wash off the guide in the morning. Do another coat before bed on April 11th and wash off guide morning of April 12th. Make sure you moisturize with body butter or something thick the morning of the 12th to keep your skin nice and moisturized and hydrated. I'm very very pale so one coat is not enough for my liking. I always do two nights in a row for whole body and sometimes even third night just on my legs because they never seem to take color as good as rest of my body. Hope that helps. Oh also don't forget hands. After you're done with whole body, whatever is left on mitt run over top of hands and fingers.

Answer:	The light needs to enter your eyes. Generally, a good position is on a desk or table at 10 o'clock or 2 o'clock. You can even position slightly higher than your eyes to mimic the angle of sunlight. Just like the sun, you don't want to stare directly at your happy light, but you do need to be able to see it.
Question:	lux at what distance
Answer:	Intensity falls by the square or radius 20 inches is 4 times the distance of 5 making it 0ne sixteenth weaker Are we to believe this delivers 16000 Lux at 5 inches?? I don’t think so
