Answer:	It has timer for it to cut off after 4 hrs.

Answer:	You can just use water, if you want to use it as a humidifier. This does not include the essential oils; you will have to buy those seperatly. It is worth buying the oils though.
Question:	how long it would work on a single fill up
Answer:	I think some people are getting confused as to the functions. Pushing once to green is intermittent mode. It diffuses 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off and runs for up to 6 hours. However, mine is still running after 8 hours. It auto shuts off when water is almost gone. Push twice to red or continuous mode and it runs continually for 3 hours then auto shuts off. I started mine at 1am in green intermittent mode and it’s 8:45 and still running. But no complaints here!

Answer:	You can turn off the color lights. But the function light especially the green is very bright if you are sensitive to light when you sleep this will be bothersum. I used black electrical tape to round the bottom of the lid to block out most the green light. It will do rather than returning to buy a more expensive item.

Answer:	While I don't have this unit, I have one very similar. My issue was that it started making a high pitched noise when plugged in and the green light did not come on. I did several things, not sure exactly what worked, but I managed to get it working again. First I unplugged it. Then poured a little white vinegar in it and let it sit for a bit, then took a Q-tip and gently rubbed the center piece and rinsed with water. I later did the same thing with rubbing alcohol. It didn't turn on, but I left it overnight and this morning it's working perfectly. So maybe something had to dry out... Hope this helps you or anyone else with this issue.

Answer:	I let mine run until the water is out if you have it on constant it lasts 4 hours. If you leave it on 30 seconds intermittent it lasts for 8 which I usually use.

Question:	Can you turn off the light while still in use? I can not sleep with any lights in the room at night
Answer:	A small amount of water is released into the air. Diffuser uses about 500 ml of water in a 10-12 hour period.
Question:	Can the light be turned off? I need complete darkness in my room for my sleep hygiene
Answer:	I have it in my classroom which is about 900 sq. ft. and this diffuser does a great job throughout the room.
Question:	can you turn the led light off
Answer:	The main light can turn off, but there is an "On" light that is too bright for sleeping. Because the unit is white, that little "on" light illuminates the entire unit in the dark. I haven't tried using any kind of electrical tape to cover the light under the unit's cover & see if that helps, though.
Question:	Does it run with batteries or it has a power cord
Answer:	There is a difference. It takes about a minute to see the difference. It takes time for the mist to slow down, but there is a difference. Go for the low setting then come back over a minute later and the mist will be noticeably less.

Answer:	Depends on the child. My 3 year old granddaughter is tall for her age and weighs almost 40 lbs. i’d base the sock size off the child’s shoe size. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Order 4-5 for the 5 year old and 10-11 for the 11 year old.
Question:	How much water does it hold
Answer:	You usually go with their age so I would order size 4-5. That’s my granddaughter’s age and I bought that size and they fit great!
