When it arrived, I was surprised there was no seal on the jar, but unconcerned because some products only have a safety seal inside. I twisted the cap and product started spilling out over the side of the container. I checked the Johnson & Johnson website, but didn't see any picture or text concerning a safety seal, so I called Customer Service. She seemed surprised that I even questioned whether there was supposed to be a safety seal. I tried to explain that I was old enough to remember the Tylenol-tampering issue, when innocent consumers DIED, and that as a result of that litigation, all drugstore products needed a seal to ensure against tampering. She kept trying to blame me for having personal concerns . . . Not acceptable customer service; not acceptable in a product delivered with no verified chain of custody.

Answer:	I use the regular bottle of liquid sunblock, not the stick. It will soak in within minutes, but the more you put on the longer it will take to soak in. It works just like most sunblocks, but it just doesn't take as much to cover your skin. A little bit goes a long way, so no need to use a bunch. I just use a little pea-size squirt in my palm, rub my hands together, and then rub it in. If you use a small amount first to see how it applies to your skin and then if you need more just add a little at a time.

Question:	For manufacturer: why does this not list the 80 min resistant aspect on the label? is this formulation (35 spf for baby) not fda approved for that
Answer:	Hi MB, in reality ALL our sunscreens are resistant for 80 minutes (and really more, but the FDA only allows 80 minutes as a maximum rating, because they don't want users to get a false sense of security, especially when using petrochemical sunscreens, which break down much faster in water and in UV rays - for now, the FDA treats top quality non-nano zinc oxide sunscreens like ours and common petrochemicals with the same one size fits all rules). However, we only market our sport sticks as water resistant, since very expensive testing is required to market as such, and as a small company we can't yet budget for that expense for all our products. But the simple truth remains - our formulations will all last for 80 minutes or more in water, surf and sand, and if you forget to reapply, you're not going to get roasted as with common petrochemical brands, or other "healthy" brands that overstate SPF based on their active ingredients. Answer:	The difference between our Vitamin D enhanced sunscreen and our Baby sunscreen is in the formulation, which has to do with the Baby formulation being even more gentle for skin, even though the ingredients are similar, but in different proportions. In fact, ALL our sunscreens are completely baby safe and great for skin, since they use no harsh chemicals and use only non-nano zinc oxide as an active ingredient. We developed our Vitamin D product first, then we realized we needed a "Baby" product, which the vitamin D and vitamin E are perfect for.

And although the FDA prohibits any official claim of water resistance over 80 minutes (effectively putting good zinc oxide sunscreen and common petrochemicals in the same marketing boat), we get consistent feedback from our customers that they didn't reapply after being in the water, and it protected them and their kids all day. Question:	Hi there, what level of uva does this sunscreen protect you from
Answer:	Hi Joshua, good question. As you may know, SPF has nothing to do with UVA coverage, and its level is dependent on how a product's active ingredients are balanced between UVB and UVA coverage. Fortunately for zinc oxide sunscreen users, zinc oxide has what's know as a "flat absorption curve" which means it protects equally well throughout the entire UVB and both UVA I and UVA II ranges. And this means it protects deeper skin tissues as well as it protects the skin's surface, and so there is no disconnect between what the user sees on the surface (redness/tightening/burning) and what is occurring below.
