Answer:	The handles on the basting brushes that I received are silicone. They are used when grilling (on both a gas and charcoal grill) to baste meat. Never had any problems with melting. Suspect if they were too close to the fire, they would melt.

Answer:	It is not see thru. The thickness is determined by thread size, this bandana is a 32s, the thread count is 68x68. A decent bandana will be in 30s to 32s range, 30s being thicker & heavier. It is a bit technical, you can go to a fabric store and look at the 100% cotton fabric rolls used to make quilts, it is the same material used for bandanas. I hope this helps

Answer:	I don't know because there is no tag with the bandanas. They are made in the US. I use one every day. I have two. I wear them around my neck because I tend to get sore throats and I live in a cold/cool wet climate. I like them. The are large. They wash well and have kept their color well for a cotton product. I highly recommend.
