About Treats

The idea for Treats first came to me when I was standing in the shopping aisle of a grocery store in China. I was shopping for some of the favorite snacks I enjoyed in my childhood when I thought to myself "it's a shame people outside of this country will probably never get a chance to experienced these snacks. Wouldn't it be great if there was a way to bring it to them?" From that thought, Treats was born. Today, Treats is not just about tasting delicious new snacks and experiencing flavors you never knew existed, it's an experience that's also about learning and exploring the cultures of different countries with the help of a universal language -- food -- and for us, Treats is about bringing you joy and happiness every month when you receive and unbox your Treats box and enjoy it and hopefully share it with your friends and family. Treats is a subscription service for international snacks. Every month we send you a box of snacks from a different country!

What kind of snacks do I receive in my box from Treats?

You can expect to receive snacks from candy to crackers to chips to cookies to chocolate and more. We include all types of snacks in our box with the exception of drinks. You can get an idea of the snacks we send by visiting our Explore Treats page.

How many snacks do I get with my box of Treats?

We feature two types of boxes, the "Standard Pack" and the "Premium Pack". The "Standard Pack" contains 4 to 6 international snacks, and the "Premium Pack" contains 8 to 12 international snacks.

• 4-5 full size premium art products, limited-edition tools and exclusive art supplies.
• All products are tested by artists, so they’re curated to work perfectly together.

Our monthly boxes are aimed towards both new and experienced artists. Although we don't target a specific age group, our boxes are geared towards anyone over the age of 13 that identifies themselves as artists.

Question:	Is there a list anywhere of which boxes, which months
Answer:	Check out their website. There are three months shown, at least. Last month, current month, next month, all with contents/snack info.
Question:	If i receive by november but don't open until christmas, will everything in box still be good? should i put entire box in fridge
Answer:	All snacks in the box have a sell-by period of at least 90 days. So long as they remain sealed and are kept away from extreme heat they should stay fresh and intact for the full sell-by period.
Question:	Does your vegetarian box potentially include seafood-based items (like shrimp), or is it ovo-lacto vegetarian
Answer:	The seller says there are no seafood-based items, but one of the items in the current box is Miyako Momiji. The description says that one of the four flavors, red ones, are shrimp flavored. So apparently you would need to read labels so you wouldn't accidentally encounter an occasional seafood product.
Question:	How long did it usually take for everyone to get their boxes? It's taking a very long time, and I'm worried the food will have gone bad
Answer:	It took 17 days or about 2 1/2 weeks for us to get our box from the date we ordered. Everything was pristine and fresh, from hard candies to cookies to crackers to puffs. No breakage, no spoilage, nothing stale.
