Answer:	You want to buy a gift without it being a gift? I obviously don’t understand what you mean. But I’ll take a stab at it. You can but this cheese straws in a plain box (no fancy tin) if you look at other offers here. They are sold in increments of 4 bags grouped in a cardboard box. So the recipient will get the treats but not fancied up in a tin. Is this what you mean?

Answer:	They have a very small amount of tanginess, but not much. They are the best ones we've tried other than those we make at home.

Answer:	Made with sharp cheddar cheese, enriched flour, salted butter, safflower oil, and just a teeny bit of chili powder. Makes a great combination. I've bought these for many years.

Answer:	They were protectively wrapped, but there were a few (not many) broken straws in each bag. No big deal. They're delicate and I didn't expect 100% unbroken.

Answer:	If you go to the Mississippi Cheese Straw Factory traditional Cheddar Cheese Straws in plain box (23 oz) on Amazon, not only will it give you all the ingredients and nutrition facts; if you decide to purchase, the plain box gives you double the amount of straws for less money because you aren't paying for that expensive tin. Just put them in a container when you get them. I did see a reply that said these had chili powder, but it's cayenne powder. FYI Great buy!!! I love them.

Answer:	I'm not sure. It has been a while since I bought them so I do not have an ingredients list. They are delicious so probably not low-carb!
Question:	Approximately how many cheese straws are there in a package
Answer:	There are probably 20-25 "whole" straws without broken ends. There are also several pieces from broken ends and completely broken straws. A package actually hold four smaller packets of eight ounces each. So the 25 are from my one packet and from all four, you could probably cobble together somewhere between 80-100 complete straws.

Answer:	They aren’t too crisp, just a little bit whey you bite into them and then they definitely melt in your mouth. They’re kind of expensive but I think that they are really delicious, my favorite gluten free snack.

In the Early Days...

The story begins with Geraldine Cunningham, a retired teacher from Newnan, Georgia and a genuine southern treasure. Geraldine learned the skills of baking from her Swedish mom, Emma Lindgren McCloskey. With eight children, baking was an essential part of everyday meals.

"Mama" Geraldine was constantly baking her Cheese Straws as a peace offering for the trouble her mischievous children would get into. After a few bites the townspeople of Newnan, GA not only forgave the Cunninghams, but found themselves dancing in the town square.

An Idea was Born!

Enter Cathy Cunningham in 1994, a burnt-out, albeit successful, radio executive in Atlanta. The corporate culture was no longer fitting so well for Cathy. The panty-hose alone were about to finish her off. One evening while eating Geraldine's cheese straws, an idea was born. "I'll start a company to sell these cheese straws and call it The Bodacious Foods Company." After all, to Cathy, bodacious means, "As good as it gets!"

The "rest" is history. Now Mama Geraldine's Bodacious Snacks are distributed nationwide. As for Cathy, she hasn't put on a pair of panty-hose since.
