She also informed me that many of times the garlic that we purchase in the grocery stores have all the roots removed. I had never noticed it, so I proceeded to check it out. Sure enough, the garlic that I saw in the store, had the roots removed. Christopher Ranch had not removed the roots.......but I have not "planted" any either, cause I use garlic each and every night.
