User questions & answers

Question: How is this delivered? will it be in an amazon box? i just don't want it exposed if it's just within its sack. tia
Answer: 4.5- 3/4 cup (100g) servings
Question: Small black bugs are inside the bag. when i wash rice they are floating. what can be done
Answer: The bad doesn't say, but the company is located in Canada. Have you looked at their web site?
Question: How long is each grain fully cooked
Answer: These beans are NOT soft. Yes, they had to be soaked in order to sprout them, but then they had to dry them to make them shelf stable. The instructions do mention soaking for shorter cooking time. The instructions, exactly as written on the bag:Instructions:Add 1 cup of Beans to 4 cups of boiling water in a medium saucepan. Boil for 15 minutes.Remove from heat and drain.Ready to consume, or add to any meal.Makes 4 servings.Presoak for shorter cooking time.BTW, I used to eat these without presoaking or cooking and I loved the flavor -- then I broke a tooth. If you want to eat these straight out of the bag, do so at your own risk. Fixing a broken tooth can be quite painful AND expensive. Now I boil some water, remove the water from the heat, then add the beans. After soaking an hour or two, they're soft enough to eat as a snack (or add to a cooked dish).
Question: There is a rumour of synthetic rice adulteration in Royal brand basmati, especially that is sold from Amazon. Can i buy this rice with confidence
Answer: Hi Jean, I don't know precisely where these beans are grown, but I just assumed it was somewhere in Canada because it has the canadian organic label. I like the beans but the expense of shipping was over the top for me so I have to figure out a different source. Hope this is helpful! Best regards, Louise

User questions & answers

Question: Is this Organic
Answer: Though I don't think there is anyway to determine the exact amount of arsenic levels in any rice, there have been some suggestions on how to remove it from the outer layers of the grains. For the first method, soak your rice in water overnight. After draining and rinsing your pre-soaked rice, cook it in a 1:5 ratio (one part rice to five parts water), and drain excess water before serving. Cooking it this way is reported to remove 82 percent of any present arsenic. But the rule in any case Soak your rice over night drain rinse with fresh water. Maybe twice just a suggestion.
Question: Hi, is this in a cloth bag ( not plastic or burlap)? Thanks
Answer: I do not know, I ordered a larger bag then the 10 lb, and it is not $15 more than other places.
Question: the bag says 13.99 and your selling for $26.99, confused
Answer: You cut the end of the string (you have to work out which is the right end, usually it's to the right) and pull, the string unzips. Like with a bag of charcoal, or bird seed.

Question: i want india gate rice wholesale dealer details
Answer: This salt is mainly used as a cooking salt. If you want something to use in your bath you can just buy flaked sea salt (which is thin and would probably dissolve better) or if you are looking for sore muscle relief try Epsom salt. I personally use Epsom salt bath salts and they come in a variety of scents like lavender for calming or tea tree for skin issues. Good Luck.
Question: I just seen a video on Facebook this rice was made reflexed bags is that true
Answer: it does not contain any iodine.
Question: What is the difference between the classic and the excel
Answer: Yes. It is 100% Natural. It states that on top in the large green section. The only "additives" are the over 80 trace minerals it contains vs Iodized!! I can't remember if this bag lists all of them but there are a plethora of websites that do.
