Do not remove the plastic backing prior to printing. Place the frosting sheet into the printer with the frosting side up. Once the sheet is printed keep that in room temperature to dry for 5-15 minutes.



a.) Bake your cakes, cupcakes or pie and allow it to cool. Smoothen the surface of your cake; Peel off the transparent film from the backside of the sugar sheet.

b.) To release the image from the backing sheet, simply hold the corners (image facing up) and roll across the sharp edge of a table top, slowly working in from all sides toward the center.

c.) When the image is placed onto the iced cake, ensure the icing is still moist or sticky. It is this moisture in the icing that will ensure the image blends with the cake.

Question:	For how long does the color stay bright on this sheet once you place it on the cake
Answer:	I personally place mine on a chocolate base. They last forever. My treats have a 3-4 week shelf life & I've seen the prints stay just as vibrant as the first day. I'm assuming a cake would not sit on a shelf too long, maybe max a week or so. This paper is honestly my favorite brand, I have used many. The texture is so smooth, and when you set your picture quality on high on your printer I promise you will be satisfied with the brightness & quality of your image on these sheets!
Question:	Can I used the edible sheet on a cricut maker to cut out the images nice and neatly
Answer:	Yes! I use my cricut with them almost weekly. I recommend the “vinyl” setting so it doesn’t cut through the backing of the sugar sheet.

Answer:	As long as they are in sealed package/zipped close, I have had them for over a month with no drying out.
Question:	Can you stick these right to wet royal icing? Do they remain stuck on after the royal icing dries
Answer:	These are great as far as sticking, these are on the thinner side of icing sheets but as long as you put them on wet icing they stick just fine, even after it dries.

Question:	I use this product all the time. I recently received a package that had a hole in it. The icing sheets are not useable. How can I have them replaced
Answer:	Not really sure how measurable semi gloss / gloss /extra gloss is to the human eye. I have personally ordered this and used as standard 'gloss' without any issues. The gloss coating is very apparent. I would guess it has less coating used than extra gloss paper but I have also ordered the Canon 'premium gloss' before and found no difference to this HP Universal Instant dry gloss. I think the benefits of the 'lesser gloss' or 'semi gloss' is what yields the 'instant-dry' claims. In my opinion it is neither instant dry nor is it semi gloss but rather regular gloss with marginally less coating used to allow the ink to dry slightly faster. As I stated before I found no difference in the final product as the rolls that stake claims of premium gloss compared to semi gloss.
Question:	Are this compatibles with icink ink printers

Answer:	On 20Sept2019 I spoke to "Jasmine" at (800) 242-2148. That number is International Paper Company and Hammerhill is one of their brand names. I got that number from the Hammerhill web site. She tells me that you can use their uncoated inkjet paper or their uncoated laser printer in either type of printer without concerns for damage to either type of printer. Those are their uncoated papers. She said, however, that you cannot use their laser glossy in inkjets. (I did not ask but I guess that ink will glob or be poorly absorbed if their laser glossy is used in an inkjet printer. I asked her specifically about the printer damage rumors in these reviews. She said no such damage will occur so I don't know where these rumors are starting but I don't believe them. Like others here, I would like to order only one type of paper for all my printers. So, I am ordering Hammerhill Laser Print paper because it is listed as 98 bright, 24 pound weight, and it is described as extra smooth. I will use it in my inkjets and in my laser and after talking to Jasmine, I'll have no reservations nor concerns about damage to either printer. I also expect that the inkjet performance on this laser paper will be exceptionally pleasing even when used in inkjets when compared to the average multipurpose paper on the market from other manufacturers.
