Turn the dial to the right all the way till OFF is under the mark. Try that. Make sure turn right, clockwise. If that don't work try backing off a little. Ours has always worked. Whatever cacao is used for, it’s up to the user to sweeten as preferred, whether it’s with refined sugar, stevia, honey, etc. Cacao is not bitter nor sweet. It’s real food unspoiled by sugar.

Answer:	The label reads "Grown in Peru, packed in California by Anthony's Almonds, los Angeles, Cal. These are the first nibs that I've bought so can't compare. I do like them. Tried them several ways and found the most satisfactory method is to grind them in a hand operated grain mill to a 'cornmeal' fineness. Use them in hot chocolate (doesn't sink to the bottom like most cocoa). Great for cooking with. Surprisingly not bitter like most. Probably results of having a lot of fat content.

Question:	Why isn’t this returnable? It is low quality and I don’t like it
Answer:	These nibs are raw. The flavor is much improved by toasting. I ground the nibs in a coffee grinder, then stirred them in a pan over medium heat until they were dark and smelled chocolatey. They did not melt. Toasting brings out the chocolate flavor, and reduces the acidic/raw flavor notes. I brew ground nibs in a tea pot using a in-pot strainer and 1 tbsp ground nibs / cup of water for 15-20 minutes.

Answer:	Thanks for pointing out the difference. It is 2 boxes that are 2lbs each and not 5lbs. A new photo will need to replace the current one.

The print is very light and looks as though many many stampings were already made. But: the item wa new! It comes with a small tube ( NOT bottle of red ink ) . I would look for an alternative to this stamp. Cannot recommend for purchase.
