Question:	What is a hand-stuffed pea
Answer:	A long long time. The trick is to make sure they are covered in oil. Any part exposed will go bad. The real question is why put them in a Fridge? I buy these all the time unless I can find salt packed at a market. As long as they are tightly closed and covered with oil they taste better to me being kept in the pantry in a cool dark spot just like olive oil. If you put in fridge the oil will condense and alter the taste. You need to take out about 30 minutes before use to melt the oil back to its natural state. There is no reason to refrigerate. These are old style anchovies and were made this way long before refrigerates were around. That is why they are cured in salt then packed in oil. The best temp for oil storage is 60 to 70 degrees. I know some folks who store olive oil in a red wine section of a wine cooler. These easily are good for a year after opening in or out of fridge. Keeping in fridge degrades the quality and taste to me.

Answer:	I would venture to say "yes" as the salt is hand harvested from the Westfjords, a large peninsula in northwestern Iceland. It lies on the Denmark Strait, facing the east coast of Greenland. BTW, the salt is amazing. It's not a fine grain of salt. It has small to large grains. You can pinch the salt with your finger, put it in a mortar or an empty salt grinder.

But, unbelievable as it may sound, the Chili Mac variety is now selling for the crazy amount of $25.79 for 1 (ONE) single box. You can see that the single box cover says it contains 7.5 ounces and the ad for Chili Mac says it costs $3.44 per ounce. 7.5 x 3.44 = $25.80. At least one buyer of the Chili Mac variety posted, on his review, that they received just 1 (ONE) box. Other varieties on the same page are obviously sold in sets of 6, as their photos specify they cost $0.22 and $0.31 per ounce each. By the way, none of the varieties I bought were even edible. They all tasted like cardboard.

Answer:	My use of them to poach salmon filets has not shown them to be any other than stainless steel.

Question:	are these dinners reality salty
Answer:	Warning!! ! Shipping now and started shipping by Amazon, some time in December! Change was approx 09/2018 and Amazon has not updated the pictures. Hormel has made a major change to these - salt content content raised by around 30%, and other changes. The taste has been totally altered due to several changes not least of which, mushroom powder seems to have been removed, in addition to substantial increase in salt! I have deferred all Subscribe and Save orders, and am requesting return/refunds on those recently shipped)
