Answer:	This entirely depends on your torso width. I'm fairly this framed so for me ,YES! it does bounce. I had to mod my vest to take in the sides. Before I modded it, the vest would bounce jumping rope, running, even doing burpees was uncomfortable. So again, be mindful that torso width matters.

Answer:	As far as the size (sm,med,lg) really depends upon your height and weight.... I'm 5ft 6in tall, 145lbs. I purchased a medium and it fits perfect. For the weight of the vest....if you're a beginner at whatever it is you're doing, your best bet is to go with the least amount of weight. I purchased the 12lb vest, and if you really think about it, that is a lot of extra weight to be carrying around. Crawl before you walk, start slow.

Answer:	Yes it will quite comfortably. Plus the strap is adjustable so you can adjust it accordingly. A full size, steel, 1911 with a full magazine is quite heavy. You will have to carry a lot of weight on the other side of the vest or it is going to "list" quite a bit.
