Those 4 to 8 oz. cans you can get are shredded junk that taste bad. I wouldn't disappoint anyone by trying to make crabcakes with those. Have to say, you have to pay a premium to get really delicious crab meat. The finest restaurants will use Phillip's. Straight out of the can, it is sweet and delicious. Suck it up and buy the best, in my opinion. Think about how much a seafood dinner costs at a good restaurant, and you will see that this us worth it. |
