Answer: I cooked on the stove . Medium heat until heated through . Turning often about 5-7 minutes . I used just a small amount of olive oil just to keep meat moist

Answer: When I first started cooking the gyro meat at home I would use a roasting pan whith beef broth and water in the bottom.I would cover the meat with foil for the first 20 min the uncover for about 10 at 350. I recently built a new house which has a built in steamer I set it to 180 and steamed the meat for 25 min when I took it out the meat had created its own juices since my family likes a few crispy pieces I put the meat in the bottom piece of the roasting pan at 350 along with nat. Juice and baked for 10 min by far the best way

Answer: Think of it as a burger...Do you want a 1/4 pounder? You might need to weigh it...4 lbs..divide in quarters and take 1/4 of that and you will have 4 oz....Not sure of a calorie count but remember that it is a processed meat product which is salty.....

Answer: its pretty close, the pieces are not as thick which is ok. if you bake them properly and make a homemade sauce you will have your gyros fix whenever you want. I make mine the old fashion way. sauce, lettuce, red onion, a little tomato and feta. just don't be afraid of the grease its a fatty dish until you render out most of it during baking the slices.

Answer: Preparation instruction: Thaw gyro bag before use. Flat Top Grill: Place gyro on a 350°F flat top grill. Continuously flip and rotate for an even cook. Cook for 2 minutes or until hot with desired char. Steam Table: Place gyro in a perforated pan. Put pan in a warm steam table. Cover and rotate periodically until hot. Microwave: Cut a slit over the top of the bag. Microwave for 6 minutes on high heat (1200 watts). Rotate gyro bag and continue heating for 6 additional minutes. Caution! Bag will be hot.
