There's a spot in the delivery instructions that asks you if the driver needs help with further directions to get to your physical address. THAT is where you tell the driver what to do specifically. Namely to bring it to your front door, knock (or ring) and deliver directly to you. (You really have to read in detail those delivery instructions & do the best you can to see that you actually receive your delivery. Otherwise, Amazon blames YOU for not receiving).
