Id recommend getting this pack for the whistle and either buying the Buck Gardner Double Nasty 2 or the Haydel DR-85. I have the Double Nasty and it is the best.

You can eat them right out of the box or to enhance the flavors, spritz olive oil on them and bake them on a cookie sheet for 3-5 minutes at 350 degrees. After you do that, they will sty crispy for two weeks.

Answer:	Fresh means that the product is made within the same day as harvest of the cassava root. (Some makers of this type of product wait days before making it.) When you harvest the crop, wash it, peel it, grate it, squeeze most the water out, grate it again and then cook it to par-baked, you remove any toxins. When you take it home home and finish baking it, you are completely safe by then. There has never been any reports of issues for over a hundred years that the news has reported in the Dominican Republic. I hope this helps. Ama!
