Answer:	The individual packaged tea bags came in a Red and olive green cardboard box, count of 50 bags. This tea along with the Earl Grey tea we purchased, were packed in another container, well packed and labeled. Harney and Sons always provide superior products. Answer:	Peppermint leaves only. 100% peppermint leaves.
Question:	The ingredients say artificial flavors; would that include sweeteners of any kind
Answer:	Based on some digging online from people who have emailed H&S, it seems that at least one of the flavorings is cinnamaldehyde, a pure version of an oil found in cinnamon and used to give cinnamon candies and cinnamon flavored gum a spicy, sweet flavor. It is possible that is what is the source of the sweetness. Because it is classified as a flavoring and not a sweetener, they can label it as a flavoring.
Question:	Is this same as Harney and Sons Classic Tea Sachet in Tin, Paris, 20 Count? Because I've tried both and they taste and smell different
Answer:	Well, to be honest, I haven't used a 20-count tea sachet in so long that I don't remember what they taste like. I've been buying the 50-count box because it was such a better deal. I can tell you this, I have never been disappointed in the tea bags in the 50-count box.

Answer:	[email protected] This is the email address for the company. I looked at my tea tins, I have a couple of flavored tea, the Paris and one with roses. The actual tin does not specifically say if it is natural or artificial flavoring. If I had to guess, I think it is probably both. My tea with roses actually has rose petals in it. As for the Paris, it is one of my favorite teas and I have ordered it several times. Just looking at the tea, I can not see pieces of vanilla beans - so do they use extract or remove vanilla beans prior to packaging as an example or use artificial flavoring? I simply don't know and can't tell from what is written on the tea tin or by looking at the tea itself. I'm sorry that I couldn't have been more helpful. But since it seems important to you, I'd email the company.

Answer:	Right on the label it says 30-40 cups. If you go to the web page for it it says it's $8 and costs $0.23 cents per cup. That's 34 and 3/4 cups in a 4 ounce tin.

Answer:	If you are referring to this particular tea, PARIS, a 4 oz tin makes 30-40 cups. Mugs are different sizes as well so I would say 30. By the cup, you would use a teaspoon. When made by the “pot” the saying is an extra teaspoon for the pot. Different teas yield different cup amounts too as well as personal preference to weak or stronger flavor of their tea.

Answer:	Yes, their instructions are quite vague. Optional First Step: heat the pot (which you are going to brew the tea) with hot water. Let this sit briefly to heat up the pot (1 minute is fine) then pour out the water you used to heat the pot. This is done just to heat the pot, not tea involved. Note that this step is more important if you are using a clay, porcelain, glass or metal pot to brew your tea. Second Step: Boil water then wait until temperature drops to 170 to 185 Fahrenheit (76 to 85 C). Third Step: Add tea to pot, then pour your water over tea to steep. Fourth Step: Steep tea between 1 and 4 minutes. Pull tea bag out. Their tea is quality enough you can usually get 3 different steepings from 1 bag. Note: You can try different temperatures (between 170 and 185) and different steep times (between 1 and 4 minutes) to see where you like your tea. I prefer mine steeped closer to 175 for 2 minutes on the first steep then 170 for 1 minute for the next two steepings.

Answer:	The supreme has a slightly stronger bergamot flavor. As far as I know, it does not come in decaf, but regular earl grey does.

Answer:	Harney & Sons’ paper tea bags are compostable, oxygen bleached with a method that does not produce dioxins, there is no epichlorohydrin, PET, or PLA in our paper tea bags. Answer:	Yes, their instructions are quite vague. Optional First Step: heat the pot (which you are going to brew the tea) with hot water. Let this sit briefly to heat up the pot (1 minute is fine) then pour out the water you used to heat the pot. This is done just to heat the pot, not tea involved. Note that this step is more important if you are using a clay, porcelain, glass or metal pot to brew your tea. Second Step: Boil water then wait until temperature drops to 170 to 185 Fahrenheit (76 to 85 C). Third Step: Add tea to pot, then pour your water over tea to steep. Fourth Step: Steep tea between 1 and 4 minutes. Pull tea bag out. Their tea is quality enough you can usually get 3 different steepings from 1 bag. Note: You can try different temperatures (between 170 and 185) and different steep times (between 1 and 4 minutes) to see where you like your tea. I prefer mine steeped closer to 175 for 2 minutes on the first steep then 170 for 1 minute for the next two steepings.

Answer:	According to the print on the tin, "The Harney family personally source their teas from the most reputable, established estates and gardens throughout Asia and India..."I have three of their teas, and they all say that. None have any specific sources listed, and I found the Florence blend to be a bit disappointing.

Answer:	"PARIS: Fruity black currant bergamot" that contains some vanilla, carmel, etc. in its makeup. *Unfortunately, we do not buy this from Amazon anymore as the flavor was very hit or miss with the various vendors including 'Harney & Sons' themselves. -Too often we purchased this (our favorite flavor) only to receive a bland bergamotless tea -AND, unable to return/exchange due to Amazon policy. It's too expensive to risk for us. Good Luck!
Question:	Is each tea bag individualy wrapped
Answer:	Yes...if you order the canister of 20 “sachets” they are just the sachets. If you order the box of 50 tea bags they are individually wrapped
Question:	So is 50 count, pack of two mean 25 tea bags per pack? Or 50 bags x 2. No one mentions this in their reviews and I sometimes doubt product information
Answer:	Each box contains 50 teabags, so you will receive 100 bags when you order the two pack. This is by far my favorite tea.
Question:	Does the blue box paris tea and the purple box paris tea taste the same? i ask this because i'm quite fond of the tea with the purple packaging
Answer:	It would seem that there are 'knock-offs' of the tea being distributed.. We received several wonderful versions of their Paris, made us huge fans, and then several complete failures of taste/aroma/quality. I would imagine the variance in colored boxes is due to the bogus versions. I wish I could help more, but to be honest, we no longer buy the tea from Amazon because there is no guarantee on what you will receive -even from a direct Amazon purchase. ~Good Luck!
