Answer:	Gatorlyte packets are a separate product, they are small packets meant to be mixed with another electrolyte drink (any brand) they have approx. 1000 mg of electrolyes, they are sold on Amazon. you can look at the nutrition information. I sometimes mix them with the drink but in the last couple of 70.3 Ironmans (San Juan and Silverman, both extremely hot) I would swallow the packet straight up (taste like filling your mouth with salt), then chase it down with a drink, I found this to be very effective in keeping the cramps away, if you can stomach it. Several years ago, I was racing Miami 70.3, I cramped up, I took one of these straight up, my cramps went away after a few minutes. It worked.

I've found that if I use too much powder and not enough water, the smell can intensify and can indeed smell a bit like bleach. Answer:	No but it has 19 grams of sugar which is almost 40% of a persons daily amount. I would only drink them when I did my 16 miles a day rides. I wasn’t hungry after riding but I needed the sugar to think and I was always dehydrated after my rides. Caffeine makes me more dehydrated and less able to think. It’s good when I want to wash and detail my SUV!!

In early summer of 1965, a University of Florida assistant coach sat down with a team of university physicians and asked them to determine why so many of his players were being affected by heat and heat related illnesses.

The researchers — Dr. Robert Cade, Dr. Dana Shires, Dr. H.
