Question:	On a dodge caravan, how did you run the wire the length of the van without it showing
Answer:	I installed on a pickup truck. Attached the camera to the license plate and got power from the tail lights. Ran the video wire under the bed protection to the cab; followed the truck's diver to the door, and into the overlap of the interior door frame panel. Followed the path inside the panels to the dash, and mounted the monitor on the dash. Got power to monitor by wiring from switch under the dash and into the interior panels. The interior panels are just screw on, so loosen those and tuck the wires in.

I only say that because there is a huge range of thickness and weight (I bought 3)and you dont know exactly what you will get online. One of the sticks I purchased was easily 2.5 inches in diameter and weighed accordingly. Not a great stick for walking. Building a house maybe. Answer:	As I myself recently learned, IP ratings of 7 and above are submersible but not necessarily watertight in the case of water being sprayed directly at them like in a rainstorm. The lower ratings cover that scenario. Ideally, a camera like this would be rated at IP66/IP68. That would mean it passed testing under both conditions, direct spray from any direction (as in rain) AND being submerged.
