Answer:	The manufacturer states 125#. Keep in mind this is a steel rack so while it may support that weight the wall or other vertical item it's attached to may not support that weight. I used wall anchors and just have a 15-20# weight on mine. Heavy items like power amps might be too much for the anchors.

Answer:	I’m not sure you’re talking about what is in the picture there.. because how on earth are you going to lay it flat on the console and attach something to it? it’s designed to go on the wall so you can mount something in it vertically.. Think of it like this.. the device you’re putting in this vertical mount is going to be like a picture on the wall rather than a device laying on a shelf. I think what you’re talking about is a 6U wall mount bracket with a 16 to 20 inch depth. Is it possible that you responded to the wrong item on Amazon?
Question:	Can this be side mounted on a wall, allowing you to see the front and the back vertically from the sides and the bottom from the front
Answer:	I suppose so, though mounting the devices will be difficult. Gravity will definitely work against you. And the mounting screws will take a lot of unusual forces that could break them. If you also mounted a shelf bracket to hold up the "back" of each device on the "bottom" side, you might be ok. I find that the best way to mount this is higher on the wall so that the back of the units can be accessed with only a slight bend. I add a permanent step ladder (chained to the wall) to permit looking at the top, punching down, patching, etc. Unfortunately, we are always trying to shoehorn these things into tiny closets.

Question:	I want to install this on a 1" thick wood desk... Is there any way of doing this without the screws popping through the surface
Answer:	The screws it ships with are longer than one inch, so given what it ships with no. I'm sure you could use shorter screws, but then you'd have to be careful about how much weight you put in the rack. If mounting it on a desk, I'd consider drilling holes through the desk and then use nuts and bolts to secure it, not screws.
Question:	I want to mount this to the bottom of my desk.. The desk is 1" thick. Is it possible to use this without the screws poking through the desk
Answer:	You might consider gluing a few pieces of hardwood, one under each corner of the bracket. Then you'll still have the length of screw thread that the manufacturer was expecting, and a modern glue will be as good a bond to your desk as if it were solid. A few extra square inches will help spread the load across the surface. Then again, if your equipment isn't that heavy, 3/4" inch screws may be plenty. Just make sure to use screws with a large diameter and the right threads for the type of wood in your desk, and pre-drill pilot holes, to maximize the surface area and 'bite' effectiveness of those threads. If you have access to a drill press or similar, you might consider adding a few extra holes in the bracket in-between the existing ones. Using more of a shorter screw will be somewhat equivalent to fewer long ones, since this bracket is already sturdy enough to spread the load across them. Hope this helps (late to the party, I know - but in case anyone else has a similar question...)

Answer:	There is a soft plastic ball joint that allows for universal tilting (front to back and left to right) a limited amount. You can tighten the 4 allen bolts on the back to lock it in position or make it easier to tilt. I was able to tighten the bolts so much I could not reposition it.
Question:	Can I mount my 55 inch LG tv
Answer:	I’ve used Cheetah mounts for many TVs, the biggest being an old 50” plasma with an actual glass screen. The thing weighed a ton (I don’t have exact weight) but the mount is still holding after a couple years. I’ve never had an issue with the mounts sagging or bending or especially failing. I just bought another VESA 600 for my son’s 55” Sharp SmartTV. Because these mounts are so wide, it’s easy to mount directly to studs. This is the only way I would install this or any mount for that matter. I don’t trust plastic anchors to hold my several-hundred-dollar TVs to drywall. Because this listing covers so many different models of mount, it’s helpful for potential buyers if we would put what model we are reviewing. For all I know some are using the small VESA 200 for large TVs...no wonder you’re having issues!
Question:	How exactly does the tilt mechanism work? Can the tilt be adjusted after mounting? Do you need tools to adjust the tilt
Answer:	If your tv is large and heavy (>70in or >60lb) it is likely the tv will naturally hang with a tilt even if you want it to mount flush. It might be just the design of the hooks or the weight distribution of your tv. The tilt adjustment screws won’t hold the bracket in the 0 deg depending on load.
Question:	can i use this to mount on brick fireplace
Answer:	You can mount this frame on brick provided you use appropriate masonry anchors. Place the mounting holes within the mortar joints, and use 1/4'' x 2-1/4'' sleeve anchors. Use washers to close any gaps between the brick and the TV mount so the frame does not distort. The tools needed would include a hammer drill, masonry bit, socket wrench and a level.
