Answer:	I'd say 3" - 4" when the TV is straight vertical. With a 50" TV, it can tilt about 8 degrees before the bottom touches the wall such that the top edge is 7" to 8" off the wall.
Question:	Can this hold a 70" flat screen? My TV weighs 90 lbs. However it said the range is up to 65" with weight up to 165 lbs
Answer:	The wallplate is 24" so it won't span 2 stud spaces (assuming studs @ 16" oc). I seriously doubt that you will be able to purchase just the wallplate. You could buy a complete assembly and just use the wallplate, but I don't think that is necessary. If you get a good solid screw connection to the center stud at the top and bottom of the wallplate, and use good quality toggle bolts at the ends of the wallplate into the drywall, that will be sufficient to carry the weight of a 50" TV. The connection to the stud will carry the weight of the TV; the toggle bolts will hold the wallplate tight to the wall at the ends.

Question:	What are the dimensions for the part that attaches to the tv
Answer:	The two vertical brackets are approximate 15 1/2 inches long by 1 inch wide. You fasten them to the TV then lift the TV into place. The horizontal 'H' shape piece that you lift you TV onto is approximate 18 inches by 5 1/2 inches. It is a well built easy to mount system I purchased 3 units for all my TV and I'm very happy that I did. I took a photo to upload but there's no place to do that. Then photo was to illustrate that my 55 inch Samsung curved screen is using that horizontal 'H' mount to its fullest extent. The curved screen has no effect on the install

Question:	My apartment has no studs. How can i mount this
Answer:	Answer to your question is this: There are always studs. They may not be wood, but they are there. Use a magnet or "stud" finder to locate them. All they do is find the nails that the drywall is screwed/nailed to. Studs are now made of aluminum which the stud finder won't detect....except for those pesky little nails which still show up! Next, don't make the mistake I made which is all studs are 16" apart. Find them first, if they are 24" you need to buy the extension are to accommodate a 24" stud spread, because this is a great product, but is only for 16" studs.

First, please check your wall for wood studs, it cannot be used on concrete wall or drywall alone. Anchor needed is for concrete wall installation.

Next, the weight of your TV should be less than 99lbs (45kg).

Then, mounting holes distance on the back of TV must be less than 16" (400mm) horizontally and 16" (400mm) vertically.

Your TV should be at least 26 inch. Otherwise, you will see the bracket.

In addition, please check the area inside the 4 mounting holes to make sure there are not any plugs. Otherwise, the plate may block the plugs.

Answer:	Each bracket is rated at 65lbs. Make sure you use #8 or #10 1 1/2 or 2 inch screws when attaching brackets to wall studs. I used #10 as you don't want them to pull out.

Question:	what do you do If the place you want to mount it has studs that aren't center to where you want to put it
Answer:	The oak board may look best but the standard for mounting is for 3/4 inch plywood. Why? Oak will tend to crack and split with forces applied to it over time because the grain all runs in one direction. Plywood on the otherhand is made by puttins many stacks of thinner wood together with the wood grain alternating between each sheet. This is strongest and resists cracking. . As far as the size of the backing. well depends on your studs. If you have metal studs they are 24 inch center to center. You will need it to be at least that long. Wood studs are closer and 16 or 18 inch cuts should do the trick
Question:	Any reason this won't work with a larger (79") TV? The VESA pattern works and the weight is <165 lbs
Answer:	While the weight limit and bolt pattern may match, the one difference I see between this mount and ones rated for larger Tv's is the wall side of the mount. This one has a 2.5 inch profile, whereas higher rated mounts have a 16" wide profile with more screws. I haven't tested it, but would imagine if the tv were at full attention to the left or right it may snap the screws if it were too large (too much leverage on such a thin profile with 3 mou ntikmg screws). But if the tv stayed straight out from the wall As long as the weight limit is observed it would work fine (at own risk) the arm is certainly strong enough.

Answer:	Did not come with screws to hand Samsung 49" 4k TV. It needed M8 45.
Question:	Does it have a quick release mechanism? I want to use this on an outdoor patio. I need to be able to remove and install the TV with ease as needed
Answer:	Theoretically yes, but it's a bit of a pain. The plate attached to the TV has a slot which slides over a tab on the wall mount, which is a type of quick release. As Curtis Busch's review states, there are screws to secure which can be hand tightened.The caveat is that the slot which holds the tab is very nearly the same size as the tab (almost no wiggle room). Therefore getting the slot over the tab and secured requires good aim or a lot of trial and error. Not too bad with a smaller TV, and where there is good sight line to visually align the two. In my case, a 48" TV being mounted into a recessed cabinet proved to be frustratingly difficult for one person. For my sanity and safety of TV I had to get some help.Many other manufacturers instead use a hook on the TV bracket which can be very easily placed over the top edge of the wall bracket. No real aiming. Kind of like a grappling hook on the edge of a building. I've hung 5 other TVs using that type of system (Sanus brand) and it's MUCH easier and can easily be done by one person.
