The headphone jack audio output of the TV is variable, meaning it will adjust using the TV remote control volume. If you use this connection for the sound bar then you will be able to control the sound bar volume using the TV remote. However, note that the TV speakers are always muted when something is plugged into the headphone jack so if you wanted to switch between using the TV speakers and the sound bar then you would need to plug/unplug the headphone jack connection each time. |

When it displays true 4K content, each of those 8 million or so pixels is able to display a separate and distinct bit of the total picture, yielding a razor-sharp, photorealistic image. But when 1080 content is displayed, each 4-pixel group displays the same info, though the entire screen is filled out smoothly via software "interpolation," otherwise known as upscaling. This set does a particularly good job with upscaling. |
