| Answer: | CLEAR MOTION INDEX IS NOT A TRUE 120HZ SCREEN! NO MATTER HOW THE COMPANY (TCL) TRIES TO SPIN IT! Sure it looks great... but it's no where near a true 120hz refresh rate and does not even COME CLOSE TO THE QUALITY OF AN ACTUAL TRUE 120hz REFRESH RATE SCREEN! I have a 120hz and 144hz screen. BOTH ACTUALLY RUN AT THAT REFRESH RATE WITHOUT ANY LYING, CLEAR MOTION INDEX OR ANY OTHER 'TRICKS' TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE IT'S 120hz or 144hz. My screens actually run at those proper refresh rates. They both look better than my TCL 120hz CMI tv... which is still great. In fact, the HDR is fantastic on this screen. But... the motion is nothing close to 120hz. Doesn't even mimic it slightly for that matter. It's a marketing PLOY ONLY! Just because the manufacture/maker refuses to admit that just means they're lying to you. |
