Answer:	Some people consider the D3400 a better camera than the D3500 due to the elimination of the "Function" button on the front of the camera that was accessible with the photographer's left hand that allows the ISO setting to be changer with the right thumb wheel while looking through the viewfinder. Also the IR remote shutter control was eliminated. I believe from what I read that all this was done to reduce the size (the body is the same as the D5600) and weight of the camera, improve battery life, and reduce manufacturing cost. Nikon does have a free app for your smart phone, SnapBridge App, that allows your smart phone to act as a remote shutter control and can automatically send your pictures (reduced resolution) to your smart phone. So to answer your question - I don't believe the the D3500 is an upgrade or a downgrade to the D3400 just the next in their line of "Beginner" DSLR Cameras.

I extended mine with just 30 feet and it was unable to power the IR lights until I replaced the 12v 1a with a 12v 2a supply 2. It would matter if one is extremely power limited, such as with a battery system. The difference between 8 cameras using the full 12w available or a mere 4w each amounts to 64w/hr extra...or more than 30 bucks a year in electricity. OVer the perhaps 5 year average lifespan of these things, that's enough to spend a few minutes finding efficient cameras... 3. Yes, we know volts are not amps. The question was, "how many watts does one camera use". Watts are the correct unit here. Most things do not use the full current available from the supply, and the listing does not show how much amperage they average on that 12v rail. 4. Most people don't know it, so asking is a reasonable way to find out. 5. Lighten up, stay safe.

Answer:	I've been waiting 12 months for a forum tech support feed with detailed step by step trouble shooting regarding IP connection issues. My NVR has never connected typ my Arris 2.4ghz wifi router so I have never been able to use the NVR. ZMODO tech support only replies once a week and the reply is never technical. It is like advice from a 10 yearold. Worst tech support ever! I'm a trained windows tech with an advanced understanding of networking and I can not figure out why they are not communicating. Answer:	Audio not available on theses, Since it is WI-Fi and cloud based you can add as man y as you would like its just a matter of how much cloud space you want to pay for. I suggest you spend a little more and get a system with a DVR and you can store and keep what you want. Cloud service makes you hostage to the owner, you don't pay you can't retrieve.., I also think there could be some privacy issues (who can see what's being recorded and stored?) I did purchase these and wish I had not.
Question:	Any suggestions on plugging them in for outside use
Answer:	The system is rated IP67, but surprisingly recommends that you 'waterproof' the junction where the power supply connects to the camera. I installed our cameras under an eave, and put the power supply where water might touch it, but not soak it. I wrapped the connection in a decent tape. I've had one of these outside, unsheltered for about three months. The power supply looks 'potted', that is well sealed.

Answer:	I have these and the internal ones, too. They work great. These cameras ARE wireless. Wireless is an industry term referring to a network connection or radio transmission. It has nothing to do with power supply. wire·less wī(ə)rləs/Submit adjective 1.using radio, microwaves, etc. (as opposed to wires or cables) to transmit signals. "wireless broadband" noun 1.broadcasting, computer networking, or other communication using radio signals, microwaves, etc. You will still need 115VA-120VA power within the 6 ft to supply the 5V/1A power block or an extension if further away. If you are looking for a wire-free camera you will need something like an ARLO system. They work great but you will have to replace batteries based on the activity in the area being recorded. Some of mine would last 2 months, but most lasted about 2 weeks. The batteries are expensive. I tried the rechargeables, but they do not last as long. Arlo cameras a great for remote locations.

Question:	Will this work with the Alfred camera app? I feel good
Answer:	This product can only be used with laview app.
Question:	Does this camera system need an SD card
Answer:	Only if you want to save the footage or view previous “recorded” video. If you don’t have an SD card you can only view live footage that’s all.
Question:	Do I have to use the wires if I have to to put them outside my house
Answer:	Yes it has a power source does not work without being plugged in.
Question:	will this system work with cellular internet such as Tmobile Wi-Fi
Answer:	I use my mobile data all the time so I don’t see why not.
